In no particular order:
Take care which roads you would consider picking up girls on. Some girls wait around near, but not in, the tolerated zone.
Be careful of other drivers! There's quite a few 'distracted' drivers there who may stop or pull out without indicating. It would be very embarassing to have to explain a bump in Holbeck lane to the insurers, or the Mrs if she happens to see a claim form.
If you like the look of a girl, go for her there and then, as if she's half decent, the next driver will pick her up, and some girls do simply do one or two jobs and go home once they have earned what they need that night.
It is very variable as to who is out which evening, and when. So I can't say 'try XXX, she's always [at location, at time]'. If it's dead at a particular time, try again later. Girls come and go throughout the evening. However I have generally found it peaks between 9.30 and 12.
Don't start cruising round before 8 and don't drive like a pillock.
Expect to see the odd police car driving through. They are unlikely to bother you unless you are driving poorly or pick up out-of-zone.
