Author Topic: Ridiculous to sublime...all at the wrong time. And never on a Sunday.  (Read 2034 times)

WGs in Glasgow seem to be like buses these days. Even just doing a green light search throws up a reasonable number of decent options today, best in a long while it seems. But of course, sod's law dictates I'm not in a position to take advantage.

Yet when I was utterly craving for a punt with the hungover horn a couple of Sundays ago, after a typical Saturday night on the lash, rest assured there was fuck all to choose from.

I totally understand WGs like most weekends off, just like the rest of us. You'd think some of them, however, would surely understand working and resting at the same time as all others can only harm their business. No wonder it's so hard to get hold of the odd girl who does work a Sunday - she must have a queue round the block of still-half-sozzled punters all with their dicks in air ready to blow. Saturdays are almost becoming as bad, but surely the weekend is a far easier time in general for punters to get away, than during the working week where they generally have far more set commitments? Hence why I've almost never had a problem getting a punt on a weekday when most of the market are at work, then home with the wife and kids.

You'd be forgiven for thinking it was a plot by those sad cunts in the Free Church and DUP to "preserve the lord's day from sin". Accordingly, I think we need to start a campaign to get girls working on a Sunday, just like those Teuchters (who wanted to actually join the 20th Century) did with the ferries a few years ago. :diablo:

Thoughts?

I had a sly search to see who was on today at the quality is fantastic this evening.  Unfortunately the cash situation, time of year etc will be a major issue to why I wont be partaking in any of the deals some of the girls are advertising.

I major on my hit list is Alex who has a deal on. I'd be all over that any other time of the year.

A savvy hoor could make an absolute fortune on a Sunday... every Sunday...but the vast majority choose not to work...therin lie's both the problem & the paradox.

good post, but  many wg's want the weekend to get pissed. there is no thought of maximising their possible earnings, or catering for clients. it's just how it is.

Possibly or probably because they earn enough Monday through Friday. Especially the better independent ones.

Easy economics.

Very true in many cases no doubt. But they'd undoubtedly make far more on a barren Sunday than fire-sale Tuesday.

Exactly. Makes no sense. Why fight for space on AW and paying cock with special offers during the week, when they could rake it in at full pelt on a Sunday.

Think I may ask on UKE...

True. Luckily EDI have the parlours.

They work to live rather than live to work because this is what their vocation means to them.

it's pretty much a one way street, OK guys have the cash but if they ain't working then fuk all we can do. and don't expect them to be flexible, if they say they are working for example tue wed thurs 11 to 7,they will probably cancel at least one shift, probably only start at 12 and finish at 5, and don't expect a yes if you ask can you  start half an hour early as it's the only time you can make.

True. Luckily EDI have the parlours.

And every second girl in Glasgow is a knock out size 6-8 under 23 special.... all we get I the dregs

Some anecdotal evidence from a few dommes and escorts that I know Saturdays and Sundays are a lot worse for clients cancelling at the last minute. One domme I know used to do a Saturday shift in Glasgow city centre and usually had 2 or 3 bookings or more most Saturdays and didn't remember one week where all 2 or 3 clients turned up, and a few times had no clients turn up and they were out their petrol and parking fees... so instead of earning an expected £300 -400 for a shift before expenses they might be down to £100 if only 1 client shows up and better off working in a shop and occasionally lost money on a really bad Saturday for cancellations.

Not doubting your anecdotal evidence at all Feegie...but I do find it quite surprising. :hi:
