I would gladly meet much more guests a day, but 1. I know my body's limits, 2. I want satisfied guests (for selfish reasons - satisfied guest=good reputation), 3. I find it hard to arrange 4-5 meetings 1-2 hours long into one day (I need a little time between guests for getting ready, correcting make up, possibly eating a little - plus what if a guest arrives a little late or early? Also which of you like clockwatching?). So in my opinion 3 (ok, maybe occasionaly 4) satisfied guest is much more than 5 or more unsatisfied on the long term.

That sounds like a very sensible approach, a good reputation is everything in this business.  :hi:

I am not saying your lying here Madlin but all this relies on a punter taking your word for this, as i posted previously i dont just take the word of strangers or complete strangers. On this subject there is a reason some WGs might lie, its in their business interests to do so.

Anyway, you are clearly a good WG so thats what matters ultimately of course.

WG is the short version of what exactly? (I know it means prostitute, but exactly what? Whoregirl?)

I expect these polite euphemisms exist in every language.  Bizarre considering it's the "oldest profession" that we still seem to have a need to try and disguise the "sordid" business with a rather twee name, presumably so it can be safely discussed in middle class circles without causing offence.  In the UK at least Victorian values live on!

Agreed, but it's not just that, I think it's about a certain level of respect, at least it is for me. We're all in this together and having a good attitude to those who are on both sides of the table is part of my ethos.

As i posted i use WG as its quick to type, its nothing to do in my case at least about disguising anything. I am very far away from having Victorian values, although many middle and upper class Victorians in reality greatly enjoyed punting.

My post was by no means directed at you personally and I agree entirely with what you say.  I was talking about society as a whole.  At the moment it seems like I can't make a post on here without unintentionally putting my foot in it.  I didn't mean to cause offence.  I apologise

Offline skipper121

On reflection I retract that apology.  It was blatantly obvious that my post was in response to a specific post by Madlin in which she referred to there being a similar expression to "working girl" in use in Hungarian.  So my reply concerned how such terms are in common use everywhere.  How you managed to twist that and interpret it as a dig at you I really don't know

I didnt take it as a dig or twist anything, i was clarifying my view so it was crystal clear as you used the word we. At least establish the facts before getting all touchy, otherwise you risk looking a right dick, up to you though of course.

If I wanted any advice on how to look a right dick you are probably the person I'd call on having read many of your posts

Thanks for the chuckle, always good to know what posters really think, far better than the false apologies.
