Author Topic: how does Soho walk-up work (1st timer thinking of visiting them)?  (Read 4764 times)

Offline lovetopunt

I am thinking to pay a visit to those Walk up in Soho but I am a bit scared and don't know how it works,

I got all the address from the sohowalkup website and thinking of wonder around  that area on coming Tuesday but not sure how it works.

Are the street door always opened? Is the building only for the walk up or there's normal people live in the building too? How do I know which floor or door to ring? If there's other people live there I don't want someone husband answer the door and hit me.

Is safe to use them? I mean should go there with nothing but cash? No card, no is in case they try to steal them. I am kind of thinking the girl called Anna on 34 Romilly if she still there, she does have quite good review on here.

Any tips of will up service?

Thanks

They are safe

The street door will be open

nomally cards saying "MODEL" 1st floor. "YOUNG BLONDE" 2nd floor etc etc

You go in and as it says , WALK UP the stairs. Normally 1 girl to each floor and a card on the door with brief description. You knock on door and a maid will answer.

If the girl is free you will go straight to her room. You see her, she tells you the prices and you stay or if you don't fancy her you leave,

No stress

One important rule to avoid scam is  DO NOT PAY ANY MONEY ON THE STAIRS, ONLY TO THE GIRL IN THE ROOM

Otherwise just go and enjoy

Thank you for the reply.

Can someone please tell me what the price range are in this kind of service and what services should I expect? 1st, because it will be my 1st time I don't want them to think I know nothing and charge whatever they like and pay over the odd. 2nd, if it turns out like £60-80 for 15-20 mins I might as will find a girl for an hour at AW instead like Busty Lara for £60 and she has a lot of good review.

Please advice and thanks

I posted this on another thread about Soho walk-ups:

(from https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=14343.msg221321#msg221321)

"The front doors are always open with a little notice saying “model” or something like that. Usually two flats in every walk up. You knock on the door. Most likely a maid will let you in or tell you the girl is busy, etc.

The girl will come ask you what service you want - they usually have a menu on a wall with prices - nearly everything is extra. All services are covered and hardly anyone does OWO. They are a few girls that may offer it but haven't found many and I wouldn’t want to in Soho anyway. Same with bareback I haven't seen anyone offering that and have never asked for it either. Likewise with anal hardly anyone offers it. It's all pretty basic stuff.

Going rate is £20 for 10 minutes mish. Anything else is extra.

You shoot - you go.

If you have been to London you will have noticed that not many people really care what's going on unless you live in posh Hampstead Heath or South Kensington, etc. Seedy places like Soho don’t get that much attention although now and again Westminster Council huffs and puffs to appease a few residents but nothing much happens.

London walk-ups are proper seedy and that I suppose "adds" to the experience (if you are a dirty fucker like me). Having said that there are some flats that are really well looked after and nearly always have very good girls.

As I said I don’t often go to walk-ups unless a desperate option D or E and all else has failed or when I’m horny and around Soho and have limited time. Soho is not a place to start forming loving relationships with prossies  :)

There are a few very famous WGs who not only are gorgeous but their service is outstanding and have a legion of regulars. Once such is Angie a Swiss (she says) brunette very, very pretty with a killer body she could easily go independent and charge anything she likes but prefers working there because is hassle free etc. or whatever her reasons are.

Hope that helps."

I think that answers most of your questions.

Take heed of Steve's warning. Never pay money to anyone except the girl in the room.

Good luck, happy punting and report back!

Thanks for the reply guys. Great help. Would you happen to know what is the usual opening hour for the walk-up?

I can't help with the current prices, but I do have a tip for not getting ripped off.

The first time I visited a walkup I did my research beforehand and had the exact amount of cash ready. I was a bit surprised when the girl said that it would be £20 more for the half hour. I said I'd have to go to the cash point as I was £20 short and she instantly dropped her price by £20 . They know if you leave you'll most likely never return.

Give him a chance. He'll probably ask more or less the same thing at least another three times before he gets the courage to go. Then when he gets halfway there he'll think of something that puts him off and come back and ask for advice on someone else.

Yes I know I should be more patient.  I should go and read your "welcoming newbies" thread again :)
Thing is I personally wouldn't actively encourage somebody to start punting if they were in two minds about getting into it or not.  It's addictive and is not without its downsides as you know.  If somebody can find an alternative way to get their kicks (without the risk of STIs and the high financial cost) then I would recommend that instead.

The walk-ups as described above are fine for a quickie if a little grubby, but you do need to beware of the 'clip joints' in Soho...a pretty girl sits just inside a doorway offering for you to see a strip show, you will be offered a drink and when you leave you will get a bill for £100s for the drink and 'entertainment'. If you refuse to pay, a heavy will help relieve you of the cash. There are some legitimate strip joints in Soho too.

The highlighted bit reminds me of a PM I received soon after my original post quoted above from a punting virgin asking me advice about best place in Soho to have a punt. I did say to him (if it was a him) that Soho is not the best place to lose your punting virginity but instead spend an hour with a well reviewed WG. Soho would scare the living daylights out of nervous newbies.

So I have walked around the soho walk-ups in the last hour and find most of the places in the sohowalkup guide. and now i am sitting in the coffee shop and planning my entrance. Wanted to see Anna but just before I went I saw a man went in so I pass right pass it and planning to go in about an hour. However, according to the guide Anna doesn't work Tuesday So I am not sure I should go up and leave if she isn't there. feel bad to do that and not very polite.

The saga continues!  You're making too much of a big deal about it.  Man up!  My prediction is that you'll eventually summon up the courage to go through with it and leave disappointed after 10 minutes and then regret wasting your money.  Punting for the first time is a bit like having sex for the first time - i.e. shit.

You miss my irony. He should not be encouraged at all!!!  :sarcastic:

Well, I just had my 1st walk-up BUT it was just a WALK-UP. after wondering around the street for a bit finally decided I would go up and it doesn't really have my there's few biulding sitting opposite the door because I think they are working  at the theatre. So I went up following Anna's sign, rang the bell and the maid came out and said Anna's busy and so I want to wait I said no and left.

That was it. it was very disappointing after spending so long to  get up there but could see Anna. I just don't feel comfortable to wait there and see the other guy came out.  So, I guess it happens a lot then, since you don't book the girl in advance. Don you guys wait? I guess I didn't know any good girls otherwise I might have gone to a different one but I really want to see Anna after all the reviews that I read about her.

Anyway, I will around that area again next week so I will try my luck again. Oh, it might be a stupid question but is there quieter  time in walk-up? i just don't wanna wait there.

cheers guys

It's almost a waste of time getting your sights on one particular piece of fanny in Soho cos they change so often and may be busy when you call. Unless you want to queue, a better strategy is to keep on knocking on doors until you find one you want to shag. And really, all your hums and ha's and nearly-dids are pretty wank. Like a woman who wants to walk a hundred yards and keeps phoning up every two paces to ask if she's going the right way and will the pavement be bumpy and what happens if you trip up and is it better to walk on the left or the right. Just get there. Come and tell us when you've shagged a few of them. If you really need us to hold your hand (or your willie), with respect, you aren't really grown up enough.

Yes, all your questions are pretty stupid, and I don't mean that in a nasty way. You're like an alien asking if the earth is full of earth or water. Or shit. If you want to punt, punt. If you don't, take up knitting or something . . .

If you punt in soho you must expect it to be indiscreet ..... random people are often milling around near the entrance ....you will usually pass another customer on the stairs.... you often have to wait with the maid until the girl is free... not my idea of fun so I don't punt there.

You might be better off trying somewhere quieter.

Offline joshwinkers

If the maid offers you the chance to wait it's worth taking, as it normally means the girl's got 10 minutes or less left with the current client, and normally there's a tv on that you can watch. You won't see the other guy either, a lot of walk up's have curtains they'll draw across, or in the case of Anna's address, a separate door to let the guy out of.

I used to have your concerns, but after almost 20 years of on and off punting in Soho I don't care anymore. Mainly because no one else does. And the chances of bumping in to someone you know are incredibly low.

Prices at the mo are (roughly) £20 for sex, £25 for oral and sex, £30 for oral, sex and positions, and between £45 - £50 for 20 minutes. It varies slightly from walk up to walk up, but I'd never pay more than the above.
