When I get tested I always have Urine, Bloods & a Throat swab taken, coz I explain that I like to give as well as receive OwO.  I'm pretty sure  a Throat swab helps to detect Gonorrhoea wether Male or Female.

Having looked it up online its seems for Oral G testing it has to be an oral swab. Superdrug do a test kit for about £32.

Urine test in men anyway for G is the replacement only for the urethral swab that used to be painfully used. But doesn't test for other local areas, that has to be a swab too finding the bacteria in that particular area. Pot luck unless symptomatic!

1) a PCR test to look for baterial DNA. This is quick but can false positives as it can take a few weeks for dead cells to get flushed out of the system. This means you can test positive several weeks after the infection has died.
