continuing the theme of punting and the law and legality... as I understand it, under UK law, prostitution itself is not a crime, but pimping and soliciting it is crime. Where does solicitation start?

A woman advertising herself for sex online is legal?. Suppose a woman goes into a pub and starts talking to a man and says that she can sleep with a man but saying he has to pay;  What about a man suggesting buying a drink to a woman in exchange of BJ in toilet?  if a plain clothed police was listening these, does he have a case?

Kerb crawling or walking up to a woman and asking them to fuck you for money. The police probably wouldn't pull you for soliciting a man though. Just ask the chief.  ;)
