Well it was a bright idea to go back working in the same area as your "stalker", working for the same agency and also working indie with a very similar name and of course similar pics. In my experience, WGs often use "classic" excuses, like claiming to be stalked, to hide from their past. To be fair, at least you have mostly positives though.

For what it's worth, I contacted Emily Jane on UKE ahead of her recent tour up here.  She wasn't initially keen to mention her old name even by PM.  She mentioned "stalkers and the threat of outing" as the reason. 

It's a tricky one, because it's potentially an easy way to avoid past negatives.  However, I'm sure we all know examples of girls who have been outed or threatened and need to "hide" from certain people while still making a living.
