I am not in Croydon - I used it as an example. I didn't want to seem as though I was touting, I just wanted to check that the results are the same for everybody
No Google results are different every time and different for every user - you could write a book on the way Google works and it would be out of date in weeks because they keep changing it.
But in a nutshell they know all or some of your previous search history (which will vary depending whether you are using a mobile device or computer) and they will have a more comprehensive history if you are logged in (when your searches become private to the website owner but very public to Google who record - and then sell - everything).
And the search performance of your site will vary day to day depending on factors like server speed, any faults or errors on the site, whether you've added new links or social media mentions etc. And when Google update their search logarithm it changes where you appear completely. So you can rank top in searches one day on one user's PC but bottom of the page another day with a different user. Your performance for 'Croydon Escort' versus 'Escorts in Croydon' will also probably vary.
