I live in Inverness so if you think Aberdeen is bad try our barren wasteland of a punting area!
Nevertheless there are some reasons for our current woes, I have just posted this on the thread asking where all the Polish and Hungarian girls have gone:
A number of factors:
1) The Romanians, they flooded the market and undercut everybody else
2) The Crash in Oil and Gas prices, until the crash a touring EE girl could get a good return from the cost of touring up in Scotland especially in places like Aberdeen where workers in that sector congregate with plenty of money to burn in their pockets. If they had made the tour to places like Aberdeen then branching out into other cities and towns was viable
3) Brexit, a touring trip of the UK does not make the same financial return as it used do. Many of these touring EE girls are either sending it home or saving it up. A 20% drop in value of the pound means they get significantly less when it is converted to their local currency, if they were doing a 6 month tour that drop in value of the pound would cost them many thousands of pounds. In the end they are running a business not a charity!
Also you need to factor in the cost of the tour accommodation and travel wise. If they are getting less lucrative custom, there are Romanians under cutting them and the pounds they make are worth 20% less than a year ago it is hardly surprising that they are withdrawing their services and looking elsewhere.
As for solutions?
1) Cancel Brexit
2) Persuade the Saudis not to flood the market with cheap oil and Gas
3) Stop seeing Romanian prossies
4) Pay Polish and Hungarian prossies more - (probably not going to be popular here)
