Author Topic: Well that was awkward!!  (Read 1669 times)

Okay I made a booking the other day with a WG in Canton. Good comms via AW email then text then a quick phone call. She gave me directions and then said "The door is open come upstairs, but take your shoes off". I got to the house; an end terrace in a smart part of the area, pushed down on the handle and the door opened; stepped inside started taking my shoes off when an elderly lady popped her head out of the kitchen asking "CAN I HELP YOU"!! I was only at the wrong fucking house!!!

I asked if xxxxx lived there and she shouted "NO SHE DOESN'T GET OUT OR I WILL CALL THE POLICE"!! Jesus I have not moved so quick since my early 20's.......

The house I needed was down an alley across the road from the house above.

Heart was pounding I can tell you.

Ha ha , easy done. I have knocked the door across the road from my intended destination, parked on there drive an all ! Luckily thay were out , thinking that's odd I just spoke to her ( text ) as I turned to walk to van a mad woman was waving like crazy across the road, close call !

Went ahead haha; I was half expecting the Old Bill outside the old dear house when I came out. I did extend the 30 mins to an hour to be on the safe side!!

This happened to me last year, but the person was 6ft odd had a bald head and to put it in his own words wanted to "fuck me up" that was down Tremorfa..last time I go there again  :timeout:
