Further to the thread on Farah - where I commented she'd rasied her prices to £180/hour - I notice there's been a general creep upwards in pricing.

Alongside her, Blondes Like Fun is now charging £180/hour. And Mollie Mathews is well documented at £200.

As Red says in the other thread, it's up to us whether we choose to pay these prices. And many of us wont. But are we wealthier, or more generous in South Wales? It seems strange that we now have a number of premium priced escorts. Excellent SPs as many are. But, sadly, not too many good ones in the £100-£120 bracket. Especially since we lost the two Polish Amys

Some may see our reviews on here and the amount of crap punts we get of £100/£120 Romanians.

So it may seem good business sense to charge a chunk more and give good service, to those who can/will pay a bit more.

I can get fed for £1.99 in Burger King or pay £20 in Miller and Carter, both fill me up but one definately tastes better and is more satisfying.

Agree , S W , but if you keep look out, there are offers to be had, like I meantiond lileth was doing an offer of £100 an hour and summer Mae has great prices on U.K. E, I've seen W brunette for £120 and even at £ 140 is good value . Trouble is, these girls would rather do one or two meets at 180/200 than four meets at say 120, and if thay got them coming through the door, thay are not going to drop there price, and if we were them why would we , but then you have the situation with carmen who has cleared off due to lack of bookings ? It's an odd one that ? But if the phone needs dusting , the prices thay will fall , don't hald your breath mind !

As I tend to punt usually about just once or twice a month I don't usually mind paying above £150 an hour.  It would be good if there were a lot more girls in the £120 an hour range though.

I haven't commented yet Strange goings on. Yes the 200 for 2 hours with Lileth and the 140 WB are value for money. I'll do the odd 180 or 200 but not regularly. 200's are more of a one off for me just to have done it.

But it's good to have the options. In South Wales we seem well served at present for haute cuisine. But less so for quality, tasty, budget fare

No problem, Red. I do like this dining analogy. I'm seldom so hungry these days that anything will do, hence my not seeing Romas. I don't mind treating myself to a top restaurant now and again and normally enjoy it when I do. But I'll often find the best times are in reasonably priced places where the service is genuine and outstanding.

Interesting theory, Sticky. Not sure Lotharios will be checking AW ahead of time. My sense is these hikes are based on local demand only. BLF, Farrah have rave reviews from locals which means more demand. They 'manage' demand and their income with price. They're not machines and if they can give great service at higher prices to meet their financial needs, they'll choose this. If they find they have gone a bit too far, they'll come back down a bit. For the business blokes I think it's called testing the price elasticity of the market. Prof SW over and out

Spot on there  S W , cant argue with that buddy, up to them , water finds its own level, much like all us self employed, we charge what we can , with out taking the piss, if work slows up we knock a few bob off, if up to ones  eyes you can charge certain cliants a bit more, but not all, because thay have not got the extra cash to chuck around , market forces will always prevail.

Personally £130 is my tops, esp for independents.  Agencies like Portfolio need to charge a bit more I guess to get their cut, and in their case do a good job.

It's the same for me. £180 is within my budget since my second punt of the month can easily be a £120 or less girl, of which there are many good ones to choose from. That said, I obviously would prefer a cheaper rate, but it's not the end of the world.

Someone noticed Welsh Barbie was up at £200/hr the other week, but she was soon back down at her previous rate.  Not sure that enough time had elapsed there for the market to decide, so who knows what's going on

SW, I like your theory about price elasticity. Based on a number of responses to this thread it seems the SPs may be pleasantly surprised by the market's elasticity. Quite a few seem prepared to pay these higher levels

Good luck to SPs if they can maintain these levels. Frankly, I'd need a lot more than £150 to fuck a hairy, sweaty munter like me 

But, much as I enjoyed my time with Farah last year I can't justify £180 to see her again.

I do find ER's observation interesting that Bristol seems to be more competitively priced. Not sure how true that is as I don't punt there.

Interesting perspective, Grumpy. I'd certainly need a lot more than 150 to fuck you as described. I'd start at 1000 for an hour. But, you could have an overnight for 5000 which is a much slashed hourly rate. If you set up an AW profile, would you be as honest with your statistics?

I'm not been on UKP long, but I wasn't expecting to read posts regarding the 'price elasticity of demand'! I think that you are on to something there SW. I think that it doesn't help that there appears to be a total lack of 'middle market' within in Cardiff i.e. a few budget providers such as the £60 for half and hour Romanians and then the £120 + for Welsh beauties higher up the scale, but there doesn't appear to be a great selection at the £70 to £90 for half an hour range.

Got to be a supply , demand thing, while working in London a few years ago ( I didn't punt ? ) I was amazed at the amount of gorgeous lookers for £ 120 ish, I raised this same point in another thread and a reply confirmed that the saturation of the market up there by these girls had pushed or kept prices low .

Evening all. Bit of a lurker and don't post too often but felt I had to contribute to this thread. Just logged into AW tonight as was going to message Kandice to try to book her for next week, been on my HL for a while mainly due to excellent reviews on here. She is currently showing at 190 for a 1hr incall- now I'm sure she was charging 150 as recently as last week! Is this another example of recent price hikes? Can't disagree, that's why I text to ask about prices as I'd not seen her for a while, and wasn't sure if I had to pay £190 , and as much as I like kandice, ( as I told her ) I see 180/200 as a one off punt and I'll never visit all of them due to the price in the first place, but £150 I can handle, I've not punted much this year , so technically I've saved about 2k and I know what I'm going to get, so no risk of a shit time.
