But one problem - when I did a check on this new AW account it was actually her alias, exposing her bollocks. Not only did that kill the thread, but also meant I exchanged PM with NIK about the whole thing.

Few months later, when NIK was censored by Genghis and his punter-hating prossie moderators (because he was being "excessively negative"), he messaged me (and others he knew) to invite me to his new forum. And thus I become involved (although it wasn't called UKP back then, it was using some free forum host, who promptly suspended NIK's forum for being about sex, forcing me to register the domain UKPunting.com and setting up forum software).
