UKPunting is a free, independent and not-for-profit paid sex buyer site.
Just had a quick look at profile.Still up there. Still no warning message. Still not verified. Only change from yesterday is that a private gallery has now been added.I suppose its fair to argue that at this stage its only one guy's subjective judgment that profile is a wrong'un. (It just "smells dodgy". I suspect any first time user who claims from day 1 that they have already so many time wasters from site that they must take a 20 quid non refundable deposit. That, plus the atrocious spelling are strong indicators of a likely con.)Maybe guys with a longer record on adulwork of reporting suspect stuff get taken more seriously? I'll let you know what happens in long term. (I'm predicting in long term that if any guy pays the 20 quid deposit they will get nowt for their money. Very happy if I turn out to be wrong.)
A PG that A/W will make money out of, how convenient for them.
I can see that. But how likely is it that asking for a 20 quid non refundable deposit (for escort bookings) when profile is first created is legit? (Apparently because "there are so many time waisters (sic)" . Allegedly WG has never been on site before, has no previous history as a WG... so where did "she" come across these time wasters?)I was at least hoping that adultwork could quickly check things like where profile was actually created, whether IP address has been used before, etc.And I have seen plenty of profiles recently where AW have put a red message on top of profile page along lines of "Warning....". So at least sometimes AW does put warnings on profiles before investigation of its truthfulness has been completed.
Long before UKP was ever created I thought of an idea of creating a site with 100% genuine profiles.Instead of WGs creating profiles about themselves, it would be punters who create the profiles about them.So rather than letting the WGs upload any pic they want, punters would take a pic (body/face) during the punt and add them to the profile. That way all the pics are not photoshopped and the exact date of the pic is known (i.e. not a decade old).I could add a profile feature to UKP (with search facility and postcode distance, etc.) but the issue is getting enough punters to agree to ask WGs during punts to take a pic so they can be used for their UKP profile.
I reported by email to AW that a certain wg was using fake profile pictures and charging £160ph and £80 per 30 mins - even gave them the links to where she got these pictures and that was nearly 2 weeks ago - her profile and pictures (Fake) still there. However whats weird is that she has changed her profile name a few days after? Not sure if AW tipped her off or if it was coincident that it happened a few days later....
They act as soon as the scam profile has made enough credits for AW to consider worthy of confiscation
perhaps they think that is a reasonable way of extracting payment for scam profile removal? :timeout
It must be a huge revenue earner. Of course, what they should do, is automatically refund the credits.
Can't believe that amount of fake shit on that site, makes it like looking for a needle in a haystack.Picked out 4 girls, and 3 of them had fake pics after a google image search. Its like not worth bothering with AW.
