I haven't met her so I don't know what her exact requirements are, and yes, she should spell them out. If the logic is similar to KDD then I think they both understand that the "recent" test by itself isn't a guarantee of anything. Either party could have had bb the day before the test and still have a clean result! It just shows that the person is bothered enough to actually get tested.
