Sounds about right.  there is always someone who will complain.

The notes dont work anyway as no one ever leaves their name so you dont know if they are genuine or not.  I always leave my working name on notes I leave so others can email and check what I have written is true.  They should make is compulsory that anyone writing notes has to leave their name on it.  That way it will less likely be abused like it is now

Well I find it confusing when someone emails me with 0 feedback and it just says time waster with no other details. I am the same, I leave my working name on there to.

AW need to sort it out properly and deny any notes that are just one word.  I have a client that I have seen for two years and next to his name is a red note meaning dangerous and all it says is freak in capital letters.  he is a lovely shy guy who wont say boo to a goose but he likes to kiss armpits.  hardly dangerous yet AW allow this type of comment.

I think Adultwork is next to totally useless.

95% of the profiles are fakes. Of the rest they are mostly EE's, who either don't speak ANY English, or are trafficked or coersed, or all three. It's very difficult to find any genuine people on there. They are all out to scam and rip you off.

The only ones worth a try are the ones that display a phone number. And three quarters of those are dodgy as well.

I know it can be a frustrating site but your jumping to a few conclusions there.

3/4 of 5% don't leave a lot then, not sure it's quite that bad, but I guess iam a newb who don't know any better

Conclusions drawn by testing the water. You try contacting profiles on AW and see what you get back.

Out of 18 messages I sent over the weekend I got one reply, five were read within a day and a half, the rest still haven't been read. Seven have disappeared off the site including the one that did reply.

The only way you get a noticeably better return rate is if you confine enquiries to profiles that have been there for over a year.

95% is a guess of course. I was thinking it was 9 out of ten, but recent messages I have sent show it's actually worst than that. I started off just sending the odd message, but after getting so many non-responses I cast the net a bit wider, and this is what I'm finding.

I've noticed that about a quarter of new profiles disappear again within about three days. Using the criteria I search on anyway.

You need to be logged in to use this.......

When you're logged in paste the link below & replace the XXXXXXXX with the profile ID number.

 :hi:

Edit...this is purely to see aliases.
I get a blank page as well. I wonder if AW have disabled it.

I have to ask what you are putting in your emails if so many are not bothering to reply to you.

Some new profiles disappear quickly as AW remove them for not providing id within 24 hours.  Some are women who think they may give it a try and then change their mind.  It is not for everyone.

To send so many emails and not get a response seems very strange to me though.  Do you address them by name?  if not then yes they will delete you.  Do you send the same email to a few at a time.  Some girls do compare emails and if the same they see them as copy and paste so ignore them?
Is it a one liner? or a long essay?  both of these put people off.

If I get an email addressed to me, saying something like "Hi dani, I saw your profile and would like ot meet. Are you free Friday or Saturday at 3pm 4pm or 5pm?  Regards jim"  Then I will send a polite response.  if it is when are you free, I will ignore it as it would take forever to write down what days and times I am free over the next year or so.  I also ignore the ones where they give the punters whole back history followed by a full scenario of what he wants as these are normally a timewaster. That type of email is better after you have agreed a date and time

I vary it according to the nature of the profile. e.g. If there's a comment in there that says something like - don't insult me with a one liner, then I put some more info in. Or if it says (as one did) I don't want to read the Gettysburg address, then I keep it shorter.

The low rate of a replies seems to be independent of how much or what you write. What is really noticeable is that it is getting steadily and quite noticeably worse. A lot of them don't ever get read. Others do, but no reply. I could send some sample by PM if you are interested. My initial messages are usually aimed at making contact and mentioning something on the profile I am interested in and/or why I'm making contact.

I do think that most of them are jokers having a bit of a laff. I don't provide material to get off on. Maybe that's why such low reply rate - apart from the vast majority being fakes.

I should say also that there are increasing numbers that mention conflicting things like being based in one place and then talking about somewhere completely different. Lots of mistakes like that. It's like there's a machine churning out fake profiles but getting very simple facts wrong. Lots of those. I don't ever get to send a message to any of them. So actually the number of genuine profiles is probably about three or four per page on average.

I think you're looking at it slightly rose-tintedly Dani. Many profiles are fake, some are written by pimps hence no reply, some are written by girls who are foreign and can't grasp basic English, some are simply too lazy, some are webcam or gallery scammers or should that be spammers.

I use one line questions and a sensible heading, I would never use "hi hun" or "hi babycakes" because I'm not a chav or a dickhead. Yet.. out of the 5 emails I have sent this week 1 replied, 2 had profiles removed. Whilst you may be a good escort (I don't know) Dani, many are fucking useless and would rather not see punters, despite allegedly being busy, hard-working escorts.

It might be that my profile has been poisoned by someone unknown to me, as has been discussed elsewhere.

I did also loan my PC to a WG a couple of times, and I read just a while ago that is also the kiss of death.

All goes to show what a waste of time AW is for so many people.
