Earlier today a WG contacted me via flirt/proposal, this has happened before but this is the first time they have responded to me saying "no thanks" with something other than veiled threats and calling me a stingy cunt.

I told her that her prices (250 an hour holy shit) were far too high for me and that as I was looking for a WG to see on a monthly basis for a longer booking there was no way I could ever afford to do that with her.

She then tells me "maybe I can help you with the rates" which seems like a very suspicious thing for her to say, I double check her profile and she has 2 feedback over the course of the 2 months or so that she has been on AW so I i'm guessing she's just desperate for clients.

We exchange a few more emails with very little actual information coming from her ending with her just not replying to me after I give her the maximum rate i'm willing to pay (below the ridiculous one she was probably hoping for).

Has anything like this happened to any of you? she seemed suspicious and desperate throughout but I avoided just flat out telling her that if she wants more than 1 client per month she should at least halve her hourly rate.

Let me be the first to say- Who is she?
Highly doubt you're the only one she's done this with.

Whoops sorry, here

Based on the flirt and what she said afterwards she seems to just be in it for the sex (probably a big fat lie) and claimed to single me out because I host most of my bookings and wanted to "cuddle up in my bed" so either very scammy, very scummy or very confused about how to get guys to sleep with her.

Plenty of better cheaper fitter burds in the AW London pond.  Travel companion  :sarcastic:

£250 for an hour and no OWO?  Not surprising that she's trying to drum up customers...

I get flirts quite regularly - usually from vastly overpriced mingers providing a crap service who don't work anywhere near me.

As has been said, it shows they are pretty desperate to send out hundreds of flirts in a bid to drum up trade and given their high prices, it's hardly surprising they're not getting much custom.

I have never had any flirts on AW. Do you need to leave a lot of feedback or something to get noticed?

Offline baranabus96

i only have 3 feedback, it seems to really pick up right after you get feedback so i think the WG's look at recent feedback added or something.

Flirts / Client Connections
Probably you want to opt out and avoid them. Or maybe you like WGs contacting you to sell their wares?
Decide if you want 'flirts' and switch them off if you don't.
Flirts are a way for advertisers to send out large numbers of short messages to targeted clients with minimum effort. Most flirts are selected from pre-formatted phrases and grouped by 'icebreakers,' 'passionate' or 'humorous.' For instance, "I'm Wet, are you hard?" Sending them takes just a couple of clicks.
Service providers who you have emailed or booked can send you an email and view your profile if you have one and send you flirts or proposals.  (If you create a reverse booking service providers can view your profile too.) If you opt in to Client Connections, verified service providers with whom you have not had previous contact can search for you and send you flirts or proposals. A 'proposal' is a longer version of a flirt, also pre-formatted. For instance, "Hi (your name) - Wanted to let you drop you a line and let you know that I just adore (select from list of attributes). If you want to hook up with me for some fun then take a look at my profile. If you like what you see you can get in touch with me via my Profile Page. I would like to get to know you a whole lot better, so don't be a stranger for long. Love, (her name) xxxx"
To opt out of Flirts, untick the box on your 'Edit Profile page.' You can do this even if you have not filled in a profile. My Details > Edit Profile > Profile Details >  General . . . Client Connections. You should be able to uncheck 'Participate in Client Connections.'
You can also stop an annoying advertiser contacting you by clicking 'Ban Profile.' Flirts & Proposals come via a different route into your Flirt inbox, so can easily be ignored or reviewed at leisure.
Client Connections. Untick the box on your Edit Profile page. If you stay opted in, verified service providers with whom you have not had previous contact can search for you and send you flirts or proposals. 'Verified' advertisers are supposedly more genuine – whether this is always the case is highly debatable.
Unless you want to receive flirts & proposals, you are probably best opting out of flirts and Client Connections.

I've had a number of flirts and turned it off.

I've only used the A/W email system a few times, due to R/B or flirts. IMO, its a waste of time and it only resulted in negative experiences.

If a W/G isn't displaying a number or willing to provide one, I just move on.

Its up W/G how they wish to conduct bookings and who they wish to see.

But don't care for or have very little use, for some part of the AW systems (emails, RB, bookings, feedback, etc). Its to open to abuse and misuse, IMO.

Currently, I won't change the way I book (and pay for) a W/G, regardless of her feedback or reviews, on A/W or UKP and UKE.

Its just the way I punt. No phone number = no booking from me. Feedback on A/W required = No booking from me.

My A/W account is 6 + years old and it has no feedback on it and its going to stay that way for some time.

I don't need some 2 liners on A/W, just to please or state I'm a punter, to a W/G

I use a phone, good manners and cash. The rest is in her hands after that point (service, attitude and VFM)

Thanks don, I didn't actually know you could turn them off.

I actually bothered to fill out my profile on AW to a reasonable degree and it was pretty clear that most flirts I got never even checked it, lot of them were from cammers and I specifically mention only being interested in escorts.

I had the same at first, when I signed up to my A/W account. Its was only when I started getting them and then researched on UKP. I found out, I could turn them off.

Its a bit like block marketing, (email/text/post/calls, etc) most are chancers, IMO. Hoping that some one spend on there little (marketing) flirt!

I think hosting outcalls with non-regulars is a horrible idea period, and her selecting you for that reason is ringing bells for me.  If I was someone looking to rob or recon for a later visit by her mates this would be a great way to do it.
