*Sigh* What's worse than being let down by a WG? Being let down by a well reviewed WG! 2pm today I was fresh out of the shower and feeling a bit horny so I checked into AW to see what goodies were on offer. Stumbled upon Lucy Milano of Gateshead and decided she floats my boat. Not wanting a repeat of my last bad experience (Brooklyn) I checked her out on here and she was smelling of roses, well reviewed and all positive. I gave her a ring and she quickly answered the phone, she sounded very friendly and willing which is always a good sign. I told her I needed a short-notice booking and asked if she was available in half an hour. She asked if I could do 2:45pm and I said that was fine. I asked her where she was based and she told me the Quayside. Booking confirmed. I jumped in the car without delay and travelled the 30 mins to Gateshead. I arrived on Quayside at 2:40pm and text her to let her know, asked for the address so I could get parked up close by. I got no reply. 2:45pm came so I tried to ring her, rang once then hung up. Tried a couple more texts and calls over the 30 minutes or so I was sat in Gateshead but heard nothing back. No reply to my texts and the calls were going dead after 1 ring. 3:10pm came and I text to say "Hi. Our booking was for 2:45pm. I'm sat in Gateshead waiting for your call. If I don't hear from you in the next ten minutes I'm leaving." I got no reply and set off home feeling like a mug, having wasted 30 mins travel / 30 mins wait / 30 mins travel and whatever fuel I used. 100% negative for me. Would not recommend.

There is something on her UKE page implying text issues.

She could have taken my calls, called me back or used her mate Penelope's phone to contact me.

Doesn't mention she couldn't receive calls.
Sorry the op had his time wasted

Not a nice experience - you can plan everything but it can still go tits up , the feeling you get when you realise its not happening

Would have thought she would have sent a message explaining whats happened by now.

I have spoken to her via UKE PM's. She claims our booking was not confirmed since the address was not sent. Well I'm sorry but I actually talked to her on the phone and we agreed on a 2:45pm time slot, I asked her where she was and she said "Gateshead Quayside". Bearing in mind it was 2pm when I spoke to her so I had to drive there as soon as I'd put the phone down (it's a 30 minute drive to Gateshead). My last words to her on the phone were "See you soon". At no point did she mention, nor give the impression that our booking wasn't confirmed. In fact I thought I was on to a winner due to her glowing reviews on here. She also claims she wasn't taking any more bookings for the day since her phone was unable to send text messages - Well she certainly didn't tell me this on the phone. She says she did not take my phone calls due to being on the phone to technical support about her text messaging issues. Call me sceptical but I've been around the block enough times now to know when I'm being made a mug of!... Her green light has been on all day and at no point has she had a message on her AW profile to say she was having technical difficulties. It was only after I text her to say I would be leaving a negative review that she updated her UKE profile to say she was having technical difficulties in the first place!...

Typical response, shift the blame onto the punter.      A lot of good it is updating her UKE profile page, not everyone's a member and it has restricted access anyway so it can't even be seen without her say so.    :dash: :dash:

IMO she has no excuse whatsoever for the way she's handled this, she's probably bumped you for a longer booking, in any case it should serve as a warning of what she's capable of.

It's amazing how many escorts suffer from mobile phone or text messaging issues. The law of probability must really be  skewed towards this particular sector of employment. Any punters ever had mobile phone or text messaging problems?  :unknown: No? Didn't think so.

As I said earlier she'd come up with an excuse and in IMO its a crap one. You had a booking as far as I'm concerned I know who I believe. She will now join the list of girls to approach with caution.  :hi:

Typical responce....amazing that these phones always seem to go faulty at the same time a booking is to start

More likely to believe that excuse than not being able to make or receive calls, texts etc in any city in England, rural parts maybe

Would have thought she would have sent a message explaining whats happened by now.

Won't that message just be "you never confirmed a booking" and if the OP has no evidence, he just looks like he lied. How many of us keep records of our bookings? It may well have been a genuine mix up with confirmation. My point is basically that I don't think that these responses from WG's to a negative review are always helpful. The reviews have to be public, the responses do not.

How could it be a genuine mix up with confirmation? He rang the wg,she accepted the booking end of.

The only sympathy i have is for the reviewer; badly let down by the WG i'm afraid :diablo:

I think if the OP was a new poster then it may be a bit suspicious but he's an established member with numerous reviews. He doesn't need any evidence for me, his word's enough, as  I think the prossie would be the one to lie, not him. Fully justified negative review. :hi:

A genuine mix up ?? I don't think so. The Op rang at 2pm and she said to come for 2.45pm so he set off to the area she told him to get to. So it was a confirmed booking and no mix up.She also ignored his calls as he sat there for 30 mins. Only one person at fault and it's not the Op.

I agree - that was a general comment. Got my thoughts mixed up. I was trying to say that someone suggested she should come on here and respond, whereas I was saying she would either apologize or blame the OP. I was definitely not blaming the OP - which is what sometimes happens when WG's come onto here to respond.

Nah what you said was "it could have been a mix up" that's not a general comment
The op is a member that has contributed a lot,he made the booking she let him down= justified negative review.

not complaining about the review, i was thinking about wg's coming on here to respond to negative reviews which is happening more and more.

Offline Shearer1955

Lets keep the focus on the service provider - she let the punter down big time & I think we all agree on that

She can no doubt try & justify herself with excuses but they simply don't wash & the punter suffered a wasted journey & loss time  :diablo:

Absolutely shit how wgs think this is acceptable behaviour, i have been mugged off probably 2 or 3 times with phone problem excuses. Its always been on a half hour booking, never hour plus bookings.

I think we can all guess why that is.

So much for her phone problems and "going out to buy a new sim card". The phone number she is advertising on AW is the exact one she reckons she was having problems with. Also, these problems she was supposed to be having were advertised on her UKE profile only after I said I'd be leaving a review. Damage limitation me thinks. She did not advertise her 'problems' on her AW page and kept the same number on there with her green light on all day. It is possible she got a new sim card and asked the network operator to transfer her old number but I'm sceptical.

I wasn't aware when you wanted to keep your number it could be done instantly, so I too am sceptical  :unknown:
