Ha ha ha, you grumpy sods....I think she looks faf.... If done correctly that is...what's cool now might not be in 10 years time...
It's all preference I suppose. Tits or arse, tatts or not.....
Exactly.
If getting tattooed, the thing to do is avoid any notion of what is cool, and work out what means something to you. Artwork, not names, obviously - the latter is a recipe for chaos.
While some people will simply never enjoy the look of tattoos of any quality (which is fair enough), they are most certainly an individual thing if done correctly. Excluding the trash that drunken idiots get done in Ibiza etc, you will virtually never see the same artwork twice. I think the girl in Barry's picture looks far more interesting with the ink - she'd otherwise just be yet another glamour model - although I don't think her artwork has been done particularly well. She could have had the same ideas, and a much better result with a better artist. But whatever, it's her choice.
I waited till last year before I started getting tattooed - didn't want to fall victim to that whole "you'll regret it when you're older" thing (I am already older). I've now got most of both arms done. I won't go beyond the arms. I know that some will always look on and think 'WTF', but it's lovely when total strangers come up to me saying how much they love it, and asking what inspired them, where it was done etc.
To answer the OP's question - it's almost certainly because the tattoos would identify the girl. They are, as I say, mostly unique, so you'd quickly be able to identify her if you knew her.
