Do some WGs really give a monkey's about Punters?

I'm seething.

I had a day off work today,  booked weeks ago partly to fit a punt in.. The original planned punt didn't happen as she took too long to respond to several emails sent.  The actual punt planned today with a different WG was arranged by text over the last few days. Even though she didn't confirm the incall 1st thing today, i decided to chance it as no plan B had materialised. 

11am came and went with no word from her so decided to head home frustrated and annoyed.  7 hrs on and still no word /text from her. Do some of these girls not realise some Punters have to put plans in place to get these punts setup? Do some of them really not give a monkey's or are they just lousy organisers of their working day?

Only consolation I have from today is that I'm £100 up for the next punt.

Research here and read between the lines on AW feedback before booking can try and avoid getting messed about. I'd say most of the girls I have met have given good service, as such they care enough about the punter during the session and when making arrangements.

Some offer a decent service and time keeping with good communication arranging the punt
.but this only to get repeat custom, good reviews and to separate you from your money

My advice is name and shame this WG, I am assuming she accepted your booking which if the case means a review can be done under UKP review rules.

And in future always get confirmation from the WG before you set off to her place before leaving your starting point that the punt is still on as that's the best you can do to check it is.

IMO no.

Double booking shouldn't happen, but W/G (and pimps) do double book, B&S and waste punters time.




One thing I do understand, about this pastime.

That Punting:
 

is wondrous, with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross. But it's not for the timid 

 

When I book a W/G, I confirm on the phone and or via text. That this is, the time I booked  (XX:XX) and how long for (XX:XX). Before setting off on my trip. I found experience, can be a harsh teacher!

I also know, a chain of events can effect bookings and this is, a 2 way street!

IMO, it good manners (and courtesy) to contact a person and update them, in a reasonable time. If some thing does happens, that affects a booking.

I'm only willing to wait, a set time. Depending on the W/G and how the comms are handled, around delays, etc.


But after a point, of waiting around, bad and or no comms. I call time, on that punt and then contact my back up plans; B, C, D, etc. 

My back up plans, are researched before setting off to a punt. So I don't waste more time, looking up what around the area. Then I make some calls or send messages, once I know, I've had my time wasted, by plan A!

I don't and wont make double bookings, I always have a plan B option, usually a regular I ring who can fit me in if plan A goes tits up. I give a plan A a clean slate so until or unless she fucks me about I wont know she is going to so wouldn't make another booking with another WG just in case. That could result in a good WG taking my booking which I then would cancel as plan A was good which I don't see as fair.

2  Point out to her ,and  repeat it  that you will not be setting off if you don't get confirmation (an hour or whatever ) beforehand .

    They can still drop you right in it but it's less likely to happen.  Joe
