Ok, I'm taking the plunge and writing my first post!

I've been punting on and off for many many years, but have only just recently attempted to use Reverse Bookings. I've put two up for a weekend in Jan when I will have a free pass. So far only one bid on one of them, and a ridiculous bid as well as completely out of area.

It made me wonder if anyone on here has any good tips to get many bids? How far in advance should you place a reverse booking? Should you place a high amount to attract more bids and hope they come in lower or just bid what you are prepared to spend? How specific should you be about your requirements?

Any tips gratefully received.

Btw have used this forum for a while to check out views of WGs and am really grateful for the information as I am sure I have 'dodged a bullet' on a number of occasions.

I have had one good result, but mostly found bidders were out of area or not offering within figure specified.

Would be interested in tips as well.

I'd just describe very clearly what you're looking for.  They can be good for specific kinks, out calls and cheaper overnight bookings - there's a sort of hidden market using RBs..

Generally I'd avoid competition with regular punting bookings - otherwise she might withdraw her bid in favour of a confirmed booking with someone else at her usual rates,  all for the sake of getting it maybe £10 to £30 cheaper, and still having to check reviews on here.

So far only one bid on one of them,

I'm amazed you haven't had a bid from that fucking tranny in Leeds.
He/She/It bids on every reverse booking from John o' Groats to Lands end.

Offline Sticky

January is normally a good time as girls are quiet, so plenty of notice is recommended along with a description of what you're looking for both from the girl and in the girl.

Offering some flexibility, e.g. any time during a certain date, might help along with a slightly higher rate than you'd normally pay on a per hour basis (say £10). Also be prepared to accept the reality that you'll get bids that don't match any of your criteria and that you might need to repeat the process if the first time doesn't yield any results.

Have used RB a few times. Mostly with good number of bids but sometimes not.

I reckon the main things that will determine if you will get a good number of bids are (a) area and (b) absolute amount you are offering.

Have a look at the RB list and you can see that places like London, Manchester, Midlands get reasonable numbers while others are less. Also clear that the higher the dosh the more bids - even where it's for a longer time.

Of course the bidders may not be offering what you want but at least there are more to choose from!

Thanks everyone for all the tips, I'll try a few different strategies and see what works.

Much appreciated.

I had a great result on my first RB and have never matched it since (still sleeping with the first WG on and off four years later though). RBs suffer from pretty much the list of problems that you have described - offers from out of area, WGs who haven't read the post or are asking for much higher fees, even a few fall throughs once the booking is set - time and date don't really seem to be that fixed which can be a problem from the POV of funds and schedules.

That said I would still recommend them if certain things are in place - if you are travelling to hotel in a strange place it can be an interesting way of getting an outcall. They suit people who are looking for something specific like anal, and who are prepared to pay. I get better responses when I put up £120-150 bids, and would doubtless attract still more attention with higher fee offers. Its a good way to pick up hotties for slightly less than their usual rate if you are lucky, though you can also end up looking at three profiles and agonising because you can only afford one.

Personally I now look at who bids, add ones I am interested in to a special AW hotlist and get back in touch when I am in the mood to meet them specifically.
