I don't hold with this overnight, dinner date and mateyness malarky but if you're going to do it then you should think of the girl's wellbeing and make plans for food, drink and rest.

Now, who should pay for dinner? The client, the supplier, the man or the one who earns more?

Can't you just get a takeaway, like a set meal for £20 and a nice bottle of wine...
Eating out is expensive if you are worried about the money.

With my regular I see him at 7pm and will have already eaten. Saves wasting lots of hours and money out. Personally I wouldn't expect a meal out in the mans time, but I do always ask him prior to meet so I can organise myself.

I did ask the agency via PM here and this is the response

Only time you will need to provide means for the girl is if it's for a dinner date, a normal overnight the lady will eat before etc,

So it looks like that is the answer on that end.

So anyway my check list;

Pack of 6 bottles of Pepsi - the small 500ml ones.
Some bottles of Water
Going to have a look at getting a pack of some Mates Featherlites from Morrisons
A Sex toy I have still (sealed) that I was going to give a different girl as a gift at Christmas.
Possibly depending what is (not) on TV that night a device to try and play a film on Travelodges TVs, maybe might scrap that idea though. Am hoping film four or ITV3 will have something good on.

If she gets hungry I can order in a Pizza of her choice from Dominos, maybe even go halvers, on the pizza eating not the cost of buying it - I am guessing they will deliver to Travelodges?

And No alcohol. I just think she will think I am trying to get her drunk. Or as someone suggested slip stuff in the wine glasses.

And I hope that is it all figured. Thanks for the help.

It is a serious ice breaker- especially with long hours.
I would really reconsider this, bring a bottle of wine!

I agree, don't drink much meself but a bottle of wine is almost essential! Each to their own of course but if I ever get a chance that's what I'd do

Never done an overnight with no alcohol.
If there are any awkward silences, blame it on the Pepsi.

I used to work for an independent pizza chain. delivered to a hotel where someone was on a long booking most weeks, always good for a giggle

How did you know they were on a booking and not just a couple?

So are you saying awkward silences only occur when sober?

No I said it helps break the ice. Helps loosen the atmosphere.
I'm sure you know this already.
I have never been to an overnight where there hasn't been an option for me to have a glass of wine.
An overnight is entirely different from an hourly session.

Yeah and getting to see a pro$$i£ in the morning wihtout her make up on is not always a good thing  :scare:

Offline James999

Remember to plan your evening, if you do it should go something like this

Your Way
She arrives, shag her straight away, have a chat / chill then shag her again, then go out get something to eat, shag her again, then relax and go to bed, shag her again and then sleep, set alarm for 3am, shag her again, set alarm for 7 am, shag her again, pop down for breakfast then shag her again before she leaves. (some of the Shags may be replaced with just blow jobs of course)

Her Way
She will arrive and chat and "get to know you" a little fumble and she will say she's hungry so lets go out to eat, out you go, you get back and she's full and wants to let dinner go down before sex, eventually 11pm you get sex then fall asleep. In the morning you try for sex, she say's she needs a bath, after the bath she tells you that times run out.

same man staying in a hotel at the back of the metro centre, every week. its unlikely he was on holiday.

So ok, if I bought a bottle of wine and some of these from Asda would this be ok?

This is one of the things worrying me. I cannot get cups for it. And I am not buying glasses.

I think this shows how weird I am as I am actually looking forward to seeing any attractive girl in a natural messy hair look.

How many times do you plan / would you like to "do her" during the overnight ?

To be honest my hope was.

Arrive, brief 10-15min chat, Sex, Chat and a drink, Sex, Much longer chat and drink. Watch a movie on tv, Sex. Sleep at around 1am. Wakeup at around 7am, sex. Go.

There'll be glasses in the bathroom, Anth! ;)

Fwiw, Anth; I don't think that's weird [and I'll bet I'm not the only one on here to think so].

One of the things I've always enjoyed about overnights is that they are closer to "normality" in at least two ways: 1] you do the deed under the duvet, rather than on top of the bed; 2] when you wake up, you see each other as you really are, rather than you being smartly dressed, and her with all her "slap" on when you turn up for the appointment.

To be honest my laptop is only the 12" models. I prefer smaller laptop screens as they are more portable.

I noticed this bit of advice on moneysavingexpert and was planning on giving it a go

I have my Rasberry PI so thought I could use it to good use as these things are tiny - worth a buy for everyone if you do not own one.

Hi guys,

I am currently in a travelodge room with my wife and daughter for one night. Brought my WD TV to watch videos - guess what?, yep, locked down LG TV with no access to the HDMI inputs.

I've managed to get round it though after a while trying so I thought I'd post the solution in case anyone else ends up like the OP.

Instructions :

Press and hold MENU on the remote control and also MENU on the TV as well for about 10 seconds and a hidden menu will appear.

Press MENU again on the remote control and a second hidden menu will appear.

Choose the option "LG HOTEL SETUP" and press OK on the remote.

You can then change various options. I changed the following all to "YES",
INPUT SOURCE
SETUP MENU DISPLAY
MENU DISPLAY
AV SETTINGS

Once you've changed these options, press OK twice and now try the INPUT button. You should be greeted with the normal input menu and you can select whatever you want (e.g. HDMI 1).

Probably a good idea to switch the options back before you leave.

Hope this helps someone.

The Raspberry Pi thing sounds interesting. Have you checked what TVs your intended Travelodge has - they often have crappy old CRT TVs - would this Pi thing work with that? You could probably get a high end laptop on appro - but that's probably a bit OTT, not to mention immoral ...

No I thought they all had LCDs? If its a CRT it wont work as the Raspberry PI is HDMI only.

To be honest I am thinking it must be a LCD these days as if its a CRT it means it must have a separate Freeview box to plug into a Scart port that people will steal etc.

It will be an LCD as i know from staying in a number of Travelodges. In the last one i stayed at the Freeview signal was terrible though despite Freeview saying it had good coverage in that postcode. The picture kept breaking up despite me re-tuning a number of times. Some hotels TVs are quite old LCDs though and/or very basic.
