Though pickings have been slim recently, especially with my 15 min stipulation, even when girls I've liked the look of have been here and available, my luck in booking them has been ridiculously shite of late.

In the last 3 weeks I've been, likely unintentionally, but still thoroughly mucked about by Cherry (regular tourer), Tiffany (part-time) and Kim (hot busty Hungarian, touring here this week) - both as a result of them cancelling tours early, and offering me times of availability but then ignoring my calls and texts for several hours, if not indefinitely. Add on top of that utterly no short-notice availability (can't be expected, but have never had this little after the number of attempts I've made), or in fact any availability that could potentially coincide with my overly-reasonable flexibility, and I'm sure you'll realise how frustrated and itchy Clint's six-shooter trigger finger is becoming.

As a result, went for a plan B the other week in the form of this - External Link/Members Only. By no means a disaster; pleasant, willing enough girl. But by no means memorable either - thoroughly average looking, no chemistry and all rather gutting when I could've gotten a great crack at the likes of Tiff for the same money - if only she'd been available at all in the days leading up.

One factor I'm convinced of in this dreadful run of luck is that the complete dearth of decent, well-priced girls of late, mainly thanks to shite-stain Sergei flooding Glasgow with low price, substandard, trafficked tragedy. As a result, when the few quality established girls that still frequent are here and available, they become fully-booked very quickly and completely flooded with calls and texts all day. Another thing that convinces me of this theory is the fact the girls I've mentioned have previously tended to offer much more short and long term availability, than when I've called them recently. And I thought the point of punting was the convenience of it all...

Has anyone else had similar experiences of late, or have had the likes of these reliable tourers/part-timers mention that they've been busier than usual recently?

In general , yes.
There is a severe lack of talent that can be available "on the day".
I'm normally a 30/60 min preference , so can't comment on the 15 min aspect. But I'm absolutely planning in advance , more and more. And days I perhaps try to be spontaneous , more often than not - I'm unsuccessful.

I always like to see different girls, I've seen the same girl a handful of times but bar that I like to mix it up. I'm a 30 min man and I'm concerned about the lack of decent tourers, maybe it is due to the time of year. Nothing new and regular that I know of in the last 6 months, sadly. More retirements to be honest. I do tend to stick to 15 minutes these days, but haven't come across any longer-duration providers either.

Speaking scan Edinburgh punter, I understand. I feel your pain. Now, while many in Auld Reekie use the saunas for convenience and availability, I am a shy and retiring type, preferring WGs operating from flats. This tends to lead to the same problems raised in this thread, so what I do is plan in advance to meet with one of a pool of regulars.
While this mostly avoids cancellations, it limits choice (which is not a problem for me) and prevents spontaneous meetings; but I just live with that.

They have knocked the bottom out of the market, for a British and other girl the Romanians are undercutting the bread and butter of the market the short notice on the day punt. For the European girls from other countries like Poland that had a reputation for pretty good service it is no-longer cost effective to relocate here when they are being undercut. For the Asian Thai end of the market a combination of a Visa clamp down plus economic improvements in their home countries has made the effort less worthwhile. The clamp down on Student Visas has made it more difficult for the Chinese and non EU Eastern European girls to get here and even if they do the Romanians under cut them.

I also dabble in the Agency scene and it is the same there, not as many girls as there used to be and price escalation. In London £150 was the standard price for an on the day 1hr booking for an agency girl everything included. Those who haven't been driven out by the undercutting and Visa issues are bumping up their prices to between £200-£250 and I have even seen the odd £300 becoming more common.

Finally with Brexit the drop in the £ is only bad news for Punting! Why come to the UK to whore yourself when the money you get paid in has massively dropped in value!

How Sergei annexed the market back in 2014 was very sly and cynical as well! He flooded in loads of barely 18 year old (and some who were younger based upon my suspicions) who were achingly pretty and would do EVERYTHING asked (even BB unfortunately) at significantly less than the market norm. I remember punting one in October 2014, 1hr punt in a local hotel. Everything was on offer and she was gorgeous to behold in all her youthful perfection but she only asked for £90 for the punt! At one level it was amazing value for money but I did come away felling that it was pretty unethical considering she must of been shagged by half the men in Inverness that day and whilst she did everything asked with gusto she clearly was unhappy! On reflection that must have been an utter disaster for the non-Romanian girls escorting, how do you compete against that kind of offering!

Once Sergei had annexed the market the prices were bumped up and the quality of service collapsed with short changing of time, Bait and Switch and services not on offer when you actually see the girl.

I agree with much of this.

However, I don't believe your assertion that back in 2014 Shite-Stain Sergei was drastically undercutting everyone else, whilst still making his girls enthusiastically offer everything under the sun. Think about it logically, if he managed (by whatever unspeakable means) to get a decent, varied service out of his girls 2 years ago, why would he stop now when he could be charging 20 quid more for the extras and energy? Why, after taking a hit to supposedly create a good reputation, spoil it all now by letting his girls slip so dramatically? None of it adds up.

Roms have always had a shite reputation on here for good reason, simply because as soon as they arrived, they started charging 10-20 quid less for the worst service imaginable. The fact that many are young and super-hot further helps to draw punters in and, at the end of the day, you can tell prices and looks from a profile, but nothing of the standard of service. So when your average, inexperienced punter is bombarded with tons of hotter-looking Romanians, undercutting fewer, less available Poles or local girls, who d'you think he's going to pick? If it even crosses his mind once, before his dick another 500 times, the chances of the punt being good or bad are very likely to be equal with regard to both choices, from his perspective. Unfortunately though, the vast majority of such punters that keep all girls going, very much including those who frequent Roms, simply aren't on here to know how bad they are, compared to great service from a cracking girl with the right attitude. For every 1 of us who condemns Roms and their dreadful service on here every month, there's 100 blokes every week, in Glasgow alone, going to give them business. 

The business here particularly suits them as well unfortunately. Whatever they get from a 60 quid half hour punt is very good money back in Transylvania and better than what they'd be making in a semi-legal brothel or street-side in the Med. It's also far easier for them to get work here, than in civilised countries which bother to legalise and regulate a profession as inevitable in human nature as sex itself. As evidenced by the Ch.4 doc on the super-brothel, Romanians typically find it harder to get hired by saunas or into the self-service apartment blocks because of their trafficked reputation. In short, I doubt there's anywhere else, other than here, where they'd make as much for doing so little, fitting perfectly into Sergei filthy, fucking, little schemes. That's why my theory has most Poles and Hungarians working in the likes of Germany, where they can charge better rates overall, with better custom, in a healthier economy, with far more security.

OK, so we have all at some stage had a bad experience, and it can be a pisser when we have. However, what does make a good punt and what makes a bad punt is a very individual thing. For me, I am an older guy that unless extremely turned on by the girl will only manage one shot. While in Glasgow once, I did see Analya Angel, who allegedly was Spanish, I think she may have passed through Spain on the way from Romania, but I found her one of the most obliging, fun and naughty girls I have ever been with.
