Indies are the elite.
Parlour girls come next.
Street girls know their place.

That was tragic. However, bad things happen to parlour girls and indies too.

Maybe so.
But I consider 'Street Girls' to be more vunerable.
And what kind of women would want to put themselves in that situation ?
The absolute desperate/junkie ones......Hence my ladder school of thought.

That is of course true, I know one pretty Indie who pushes coke up her nose but I would never have known if she hadn't told me, street junkies tend to always look spaced out.

Coke, used to be a rich persons drug, i.e. Movie/Pop stars etc, nowadays it's readily available and prices have dropped considerably, there aren't a lot of physical give away clues that someone is a user.
Most 'spaced out' looking junkies tend to be on either Heroin or crack.....
Crack really fucks up your looks and ages you, take Whitney Houston for e.g.

Have you ever sat in the company of somebody on coke? They are so so irritating yet think they are so cool!

You may as well be suggesting that addictions are greater the less the girls charge for their services. Poppycock, IMHO.

No, I am not saying that at all --------------- I can't find the clip on You-Tube but after the Ipswich murders Sky News interviewed a girl on the street and she was clearly spaced out.

Not since the missus left me and the children a few years back :)

I used to use the stuff myself.
Only socially, and was never an addict.
Nowadays booze is enough of a high for me.
We all live and learn.
Incidently one of my best ever punts was with a regular I used to see, and involved a large bag of 'Charlie'
What started off as an hour booking turned into an overnighter, and no money swapped hands.
In the end I couldn't justify the cost of that kind of lifestyle, with a family to think of.

Street girls are far more vulnerable. You can never be entirely safe but the whole nature of getting into a strangers car and disappearing off into the night shortens the odds of serious harm to almost guaranteed. It is no coincidence mass murderers tend to choose their victims from the street.

The strange thing is that girls do exactly that every night in the West End of London, a total stranger asks them if they want a cab and they get into a private car without a second thought.
Mini-cabs should always be pre-booked through an office. :( :(

I wouldn't do that either. There are some very dodgy guys sitting around in Toyotas outside every club in London.

Getting back to street prostitution, it's maybe interesting to notice that there has never been a case of a serial prostitute killer in Holland. Not surprisingly perhaps when they don't have to hide in the shadows.

I can't help but notice how this board, in common with most punters and non-street prostitutes, 'looks down' on streetwalkers. In common with abolitionists.

I might find it hard to 'understand' why anyone would want to eat mouldy, unhygienic, or second-hand food. People should not eat it. Destroy the food and they won't. The fact that starving people worldwide (for instance) will simply die should speed up such 'Final Solutions.'

Any community can be judged by how it looks at its least fortunate members. I'd like to humbly suggest we become a little more tolerant, compassionate towards, and embracing of streetwalkers. Escorts on UKP believably choose. The idea that streetwalkers 'choose' is pushing semantics and barbarism. Perhaps some right-wing abolitionists would prefer they vandalised their cars in the hope of getting the warmth of a cell in exchange for a night at sub-zero temperatures.

I know I knock the police quite often when I think attention needs to be focussed on abuses (and we get abuses in any profession) but by way of evening it up a bit, here's a nod to Liverpool police and credit where credit's due:

and to give it at least some punter context (especially as there are no SW FRs on here), a link to some Liverpool punter stuff on ISG:

I wouldn't say anyone is looking down on street prostitutes, just stating a few facts........
Most are rough.
A high percentage are Junkies.
They are more vulnerable than other types of prostitute's.
I believe by asking why these girls choose to put themselves into dangerous situations, is in a way showing a little compassion.
The very fact we are able to have this debate on here is a sign of tolerance towards them.....
Un like else where.

Yes but they don't chose, it's the only way in which they can get money to feed ferocious habits and they simply don't have the resources to get themselves off the streets.

I have done drugs myself in the past, as I have already mentioned.
I did it part out of curiosity, part out of trying to be cool.......
Luckily I never became an addict, the main thing that stopped me was the cost, believe me the drugs were fantastic !
I believe there is a point for any drug user, before they become an addict in which they can make a choice.
Unfortunatly some make the wrong choice.
So yes of course they have a choice.

You obviously didn't cross that line or don't have that tendency within you and were able to pull back. Unfortunately not everyone is that lucky, sometimes some people don't realise they are addicted until it's too late.

Ever heard young(or not so young) smokers say "I can stop any time, I'm not addicted?".

I smoked from 14-22, I remember 20 B&H being £1, but at 21 I discovered my love for speed,
and with a hot hatch, and car insurance premiums spiralling north, I had to make a choice.
The cigs went.
I don't know whether I was addicted to nicotine or 'the habit' but I virtually stopped overnight,
having the odd one at weekends, gradually faded to none at all.

I've never been a smoker but I do hear it's not very easy for a lot of people to stop, so seems you were very lucky.

We have no red light district or street in Mk so one can only hope that the local force wish to keep it that way. I think that there are many other towns up and down the country who have some very long standing parlours/saunas, far longer than MK. But thankyou.x

There's probably a few more.  Some hide it very well.  Some just wind up taking more days off than planned.  Coke is a curse for WGs... but probably a symptom rather than a cause.
