Author Topic: Music while you punt  (Read 2598 times)

I dare say that this topic has been covered before, however, what do the team think about music?
Classical, rock, pop, etc, been with a few WG's that have music while they work, seems quite a good idea.

I've been aware of music in the background but can't remember what was playing

Id like some zeppelin or floyd or maybe some ac/dc, that would be good

Offline haystacks79

Yes, it's been covered before.

I think there's been music playing on each of my punts, either from CD or radio (station without much chat). The only music I can definitely remember, was the TLC "CrazySexyCool" album, which was playing in the background of a number of my early visits. Sticks in my mind as I have the CD myself, and thought the underlying message of the songs to be very appropriate. Also useful as a timing aid, as the CD lasted for about 57 minutes.

I only raised this topic because I recently experienced Classic FM which actually suited quite well especially as I became aware of some Wagnerian type crescendo as I was pounding away doggy style!  A girl I see regularly has her ipod on (not with earphones - lol!) which is ok too.

Offline toolboy55

Yes Haystacks, the timing element had certainly crossed my mind, saves the girl lookin at her watch!

Most chicks just seem to play random stuff there was a punt that I was on last week where the girl had some cool sounding EDM I meant to ask her what it was but totally forgot at the end. I think some chillout Trance/Electronic or rock ballads would go down quite nicely.

Silence is my preference.

Agh it's difficult to get it up when there's some new-fangled rapping music on the radio, and by the time I've decided that is what the problem is it is too late.

Offline A new world

I have had that problem too but in some places where the walls are not particularly thick I think I would rather the neighbors here the music then the fake moans of a girl.

Offline fenderswoop

I quite lke there being music during a punt and a few years back met a girl several times who had a really good mix cd she used. Most of the songs were sort of alternative soft rock (if that's even a genre of music) that you wouldn't neccesarily think would get you in the mood. It does however mean I cant hear "nothing ever happens" by del amitri without thinking about the great times I had with her.

Anything ambient / electronic and not distracting is cool.

Agreed, the sound of syncopated breathing is all I want to hear. 99% of the time the music I hear on punts is shit, it's usually radio or crap pop (i.e. Jesse J, one direction etc).

This has been mentioned here before

rammstein, muse, marilyn manson, trivium, some dance etc

I just keep the radio on in the living room & leave the door open so you can hear it a little.

I prefer classical music during punts and normally have Andre Reiu playing as it is very easy listening and normally the tracks are in the right order so that a good crescendo is building just as the guy is about to cum.  It also has no words so my mind is not wandering with the music and I am not singing in my head so I can fully concentrate on what I am supposed to be doing

For me it sure beats the radio with the news coming on half way through a punt and I find with rock or pop I tend to be singing along in my head which is not that good when I am supposed to be entertaining someone

You can always turn it into a karaoke session - that happened during one of my more memorable punts, and now I can't listen to a particular song without thinking of it.

Dave Edmunds - I hear you knocking?

Some Bach; not the "popular" stuff - maybe the Cello concertos, so that it's just "background music".

Works for me & her as I see most often! ;)
