It's simple POCA accused her of getting all her money and houses from the sale of drugs
She told them she got it from working as a prostitute at Sandys cos that isn't illegal and they can't touch it
But that opened the eyes of POCA & the DPP to how much money was going through Sandys so they raided it .

I posted about this theory in the main thread about the raid, apparently Sandy's weren't declaring everything, which would be easy as it was primarily a cash in hand business.

External Link/Members OnlyI was a regular at SS, on the odd occasion Sandy was there she was pleasant to speak to but I assume this Adrian referred to in the other post is the little bald headed bloke who was often hanging around, he was always surly with punters so I didn't know if he was an owner or not, certainly lacked customer skills.
I used to think of him as some sort of eunuch looking after the Hareem :-)

Both of them were power trippers, sacked girls for minor things such as taking selfies in the brothels, prevented them from working anywhere else in Manchester and then had the gall to claim their girls were 'self employed'.
Your description sounds like Adrian/Merv, he's certainly an obnoxious dick with zero customer service skills, came across that way on the Manchester forum in particular, where he would attempt to spin complaints about his brothels to make the punter look like an unreasonable fool. He should have been a journalist or a politician, would have run less risk of jail time at least.
He's still flying around in his aeroplane like nothing has happened, might as well enjoy his last moments of freedom, I guess
