I imagine it balances out so that most wgs do not have a problem other than their own availability. Less ladies working means that the ones that are available get more work.
I have noticed I'm getting a lot more calls at the moment, but I'm also getting a lot more 'no shows' so I think in some cases the mind and body is willing, but the opportunity isn't always there.
I was in Cheltenham working from an apartment a couple of weeks ago and had 12 bookings over 3 days, with 1 no show and 1 re-schedule, so certainly wasn't doing too badly there. I was advertising half hours, which I don't normally do and only had one booking for that, with the others all being one hour. I had to tell several people I was fully booked too. (I don't like doing more than 4 in a day).
It definitely is easier to work when you have a proper base and hours, which I don't normally have. This might be something I need to address in 2011.
