I've managed to find one shop that does ukash vouchers, however the guy with limited english said 'no refundable, no refundable' and then when I asked him if I could have £5 he says '£15, £15 minimum' which is absolute BS. He pointed to a machine where its done through so I take it it gives you a reciept with your code on it?

Any store that has a Payzone or Paypoint terminal (look for the sign outside) will be able to sell UKash vouchers. If they tell you otherwise they are incompetent. The minimum voucher you can purchase is £5 BUT the minimum top up on AW is £10. Make sure you buy one £10 as 2 x £5 ones are no good for AW.

You will get a receipt with the code on it which you just enter on the webpage  :hi:

Thanks Pete. Silly me I actually didn't know £10 quid was the minimum on AW!

£10 it is then.

You can get Ukash online too.

http://www.pcgamesupply.com/buygames/Ukash-GBP/

I tried it and it works.  You just have to pay a little more for the transaction charge, but if it means avoiding the local payzone shop and trying to explain to the guy with limited english what ukash is, then it is very useful.

It also means you have a pc gaming shop entry on your credit card statement, rather then something more incriminating.

I use clicktobuy.  Then my credit card statement at the end of the month says clicktobuy on it and not adultwork.

Offline PuntingPete

Are there any charges with clicktobuy?

The minimum is £5 if you use a card, you have to click the drop down menu and £5 appears ---------- I have never topped up with a tenner.  :hi:

Actually it's called clickandbuy not clicktobuy (my mistake).  Just used it now to pay for a reverse booking (not tried this yet but I will enjoy reading the responses so what the hell).
No extra charges for using it.

I've used both UKash and Clickandbuy.

Clickandbuy is only available at one of either Payzone or Paypoint outlets, can't remember which as my local shop swapped providers and didn't have C&B listed anymore. UKash is at both.

When I used UKash it took around 2 hours for the credit to appear, C&B appeared by the time I got home.

Simple method of paying and is untraceable.

You are a genius sir :)  What a find.

Edit: Just found they accept Paypal for even more distance from your card/current account.

I am giving Ukash a go right now. Hopefully it will work ok. Not sure looking at PG's is of any value though.

It is if you link us up to the WGs here and PM UKP interested members off-forum face pics etc.
You might have to 'print screen' and make JPEGs in paint etc first though.  :D

Question: when i subscribe to a pg, who gets the subscription money - AW or WG? and would the WG know that I have subscribed to her pg? its only a quid or 2 though.

Both, it gets split. Not sure of the ratios.

If you use firefox, you can disable the right click menus in AW and use standard save actions.

That is ridiculous - it is only a quid ffs. I guess aw makes money from the volume but the wg gets peanuts from it.

It's £5 minimum for UKash vouchers on AW not £10, I do it all the time, just click on the "credits required" tab and scroll up - TAA DAA!!!

Approx 70% goes to the lady if she chooses to "withdraw" to a bank account/cheque. She keeps the whole lot if she chooses to spend it on AW services (displaying phone number, featured etc).

Bought a £10 ukash voucher but unable to redeem it. I pressed Buy credits, followed by payment method- cash.
I was then directed to a page where they ask for a 20 digit pin(under payzone). Ukash vouchers however, only have 19!
Would really appreciate some help

Were you directed to direct.ukash.com?

No, I haven't come across the word 'ukash' at all

On the buy credits page, the third option on the page is for Ukash, on this option, click on the "Redeem" button and it will direct you to the page I previously mentioned and enter the voucher number and value. It should be 19 digits. Try it again!

Got it :hi:
Turns out you've got to open it from the menu. I was trying to access it straight from the pg page which is why the ukash option wasn't available

You sir, are a fuckin legend  :hi:

Problem over, no need to walk into some grotty shop with some clueless immigrant at the till.

I've tried to use the pcgamesupply site with two different cards but each time it seems to work but then I get an advice that the order has been cancelled/reversed rather than getting the code.

Anybody know why this might be please?
