Probably good for the girls and punters alike, but I don't know how it would work in England, given the whole premise with independent WGs: `paid for company and what ever happens between two consenting adults...'?

I'm fine with banning barebacking, I just don't want the government regulating my punts (they already tried to ban squirting and face sitting porn).

WTF are you talking about? That's just something a few dumb pro$$ies put on their profiles and is meaningless in the UK

What goes on between two consenting adults in private is nobody's business but theirs.

How exactly will this be enforced.    :unknown: :unknown: :unknown: :unknown: :unknown:

Totally unenforceable. Rather like making any kind of consenting paid sex illegal.
It's one thing bringing laws in, it's another to enforce it and prove it has been broken.

The police here would be better trying to enforce the law against using phones whilst driving.

Perhaps that's what Merkel wants an EU army for  :unknown:

It could be enforced via policeman masquerading as fake punters and sting operations.  But will it?

I doubt police would waste time or resources doing a sting like that

Of course they won't.
All this scaremongering about paid sex becoming illegal and resulting in prosecution really pisses me off. It is nonsense.
Even should they bring in any laws it will not stop it, as it doesn't stop drug taking which is often turned a blind eye to or results in a slap on the wrist.
How many more times do I have to remind people that prostitution has been around throughout history, and it will still be around long after everyone on here and Harriet Harman and all the modern feminists aren't.  :dash:

No working girl should perform bareback anyway, for their own health and that of the punters.  It will be hard to enforce this though and I doubt if the police would really bother.

And if the prossie produces the condom will the plod go through with the punt on expenses? :unknown:
Nice job.

it  wont be easy to enforce (stopping barebacking) -  but I suppose they could look at it in a wider sense - and instead make having babies illegal - its not easy to hide the evidence of that for very long!!  ;)

With levels of population in Germany now, through recent mass immigration encouraged by Merkel, they will have to consider it soon!!   :scare:

I found all the different perceptions interesting especially:

In a joint statement, Germany’s BesD sex workers’ union and Amnesty International said the law “does not protect prostitutes”.

"The registration requirement is discriminatory, is violates data protection laws and brings the risk of workers being forcibly ‘outed’,” said Fabienne Freymadl, chair of BesD. “This will force many women and men into illegal sex work, where they are at heightened risk of human rights violations.”

Old bill has got enough problems trying to keep law and order on the streets.

Ban Romanians... Adultwork.. Vivastreet.. Have I missed anything?

one of those stupid laws that are unenforceable and may actually cause punters problems.
For example if it was law in the UK, I could envisage a wg seething at a negative review she received and contacting the police and informing them that the punter tried to force bb on her. A rule that can be abused IMO. Any sensible punter and wg will know to practice safe sex.

Vorsprung in my view. Stop wayward girls and dumb arsed punters punting decent punters at risk. Great place for punting; typical of Germans to get it more or less right, as with their railways, industrial policy, football team and bangers. Crap mustard though.

You're taking this all too literally. Surely it only applies to brothels who have to promote safe sex as they do in New Zealand. If punter and prostitute choose to ignore this then there's sod all anyone can do about it.

I hope that silly cow Merkel will visit all brothels and make sure everything is "protected". A perfect job for her after she messed Europe  :bomb:

As you say impossible to enforce in most punts, but it may well stop the AO sex parties that are popular in Germany.  :hi:

Without making any value judgement on the merits of the legislation, many of those declaring a law as unenforcable seem a little unsure about how the criminal justice systems actually works. It's a deterrent; if you get caught, you get done. The law forbidding murder, or the use of mobile phones whilst driving, is largely unenforcable. The point is, if you get caught the book is thrown at you.

Enforcability does not require a copper with truncheon to witness the event. There are plenty of scenarios which, after the act, could lead to a punter or prossie getting caught. Infecting your OH could be the start. If the deterrent is strong enough, it is highly likely that the German legislation will result in a reduction in BB and a resultant reduction in STI infections. There will, of course, always be a risk, but minimising this is no bad thing in my book.

how on earth could they inforce that? i mean, even with protection accidents happen so not like they could watch clinics
