Ambassador Sauna closed for good at weekend apparently.  Will it reopen under new management again - only recently was advertising as under new management (or be sold off for development?)

Notice that whole area has been gentrified - police closed the last remaining strip bar on Lothian Road leaving only the pubic triangle now for strippers.  The sauna looks out of place there now and does stick out like a sore thumb.

The old LC at Tollcross has long gone now.  Tell you what though this Milano does a tidy meal.

Ambassador and Paradise will be missed by no one. They were always irrelevant. LSS has gone the same way. I don't know if Executive or Dundas Street are still on the go but they were/are both useless so who cares. This leaves Carols, Scorpio, NTS and BSS all places where the management at least try to look after the punters. Still you you get the feeling that the days of the saunas are numbered.

The Bottoms Up strip bar and the Ambassador were owned by the same people. My second and last visit to the Ambassador was just over 20 years ago. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

I'm surprised that it managed to stay open for so long. From my 2nd and last visit there about 20 years ago, the girls behaved as they liked and the ''management'' couldn't have cared less. I rated it as lower than whaleshit, and I'm glad that its gone.
