Rant of the day - What's wrong with WGs and punctuality?

As I just had a countless occurrence of this happening I wanted to hear about your stories as well... What's wrong with prossies who just do not take the time scheduled into account? Seriously.

I've had a couple of these, and in just two days I had two happening again.

Yesterday I was at work, as I fancied a bit someone new I found a profile of a hot WG right next to my workplace. Texted her at 1 asking for a meet at 6, to which she says "OK, please text me 15mins before". Sure. Fast forward to 5:30, I text her I'll be here for 6, she answers ok again. I get there by 5:50 and walk around after notifying her I was here. 6PM, trying to call her doesn't work. 6:05 I get the "I'm sorry hun I was under the shower pls wait 5 min". Why do you shower at the time agreed for us to meet? Especially since I gave you a 30 min heads up? Screams conveyor belt to me.

Ultimately I left at 6:20 after no news from her, and I get a "Sorry I'm ready now" at 6:30. Pissed off

Tried again today, with someone else - late WGs usually get one chance with me. If you can't be on time... Find other clients. Same thing, texting her at 1, asking to meet at 6, she says no problem. Texting her again at 5:15 for a large heads up. I get there at 5:55, she's not answering. 6:05, I get the classic I was showering pls wait 5 min. 6:20 she's still not ready, I'm asking her how long and she says she won't be ready for another 10 min. I just left.

This is a proper pissoff, and happens every once in a while with random WGs. What gives? Especially since once you get there these 30 min are timed using the sharpest handmade Swiss watch in universe

How do you usually react to these? Any good outcome happened? The one from today said she'll make it up to me if I come see her... So I might give her a second chance!

Probably my biggest peeve about punting.  Book for 10am (for example), turn up on time, text/call about 1 minute to go. Get a reply of "I'll be ready in a couple of minutes" before she calls/txts back to come on in.

I'm as nervous as fuck hanging around waiting, even 1 minute past the agreed time.  Full marks for the WG who says she's ready to go when you contact her as you arrive!

It IS my greatest peeve, which is why I predominantly punt first-up in the morning (no lame excuses about previous punters running late etc.) and is the major reason I will walk - even  5min past the agreed time

Sadly, I think it has a lot to do with the female psyche and that WG's cannot differentiate between civvie-life and a business transaction.
Just look at how many times your wife/OH etc are ready at the given time?

I mostly do outcalls, and you're right, WG timekeeping is an absolute joke, particularly when they have to factor a journey into the mix.  I have had people turn up anything from half an hour early (unannounced) to almost 2 hours late.  I think how they handle that tells you a lot about whether you are likely to get a good service or not. 

The ones who keep you informed of any problems and seem apologetic normally turn out to be good experiences.  The ones who don't seem to give a fuck that they might have put your plans out are predictably average or worse.  It is particularly galling when they then turn out to be clock watchers themselves (or turn up late and still expect to finish at the agreed time without offering you some money back)

My first 3 punts ALL kept me waiting. My first ever punt kept me waiting in the street, then a further wait inside with 2 other wgs smoking their heads off. I should have walked, but not very sure of myself and I didn't know what to expect. I should have packed in punting there and then 

I have been pretty lucky since and had hardly any delays. I don't (knowingly) book wgs in shared houses or parlours so my luck is possibly down to indies that leave a bit more of a gap between punts (I can't always be 1st of the day like they tell me  )

What adds insult to injury is when they keep you waiting but then at the end you find out this delay comes out of your own paid time! I had booked to see a certain prossie at 5pm one day. Turned up on time and contacted her but was told to wait. Kept waiting until 5:15 then finally allowed in. Paid for my hour. At 5:55 - you guessed it I'm being told I have to leave very shortly as her "booking" is arriving.

Nowadays if I'm ever kept waiting (and I'll usually only wait for a maximum of 15 minutes past the booked time) then when I'm allowed in I'll ask the girl to confirm I'll get the full time I've paid for, even though she's running late.

I've also found that on the cheapo punts of around £60 or £70 an hour, bookings tend not to be honoured even if agreed by text or phonecall. So let's say I book for 6pm and arrive just before that time. I make the call and will likely be told, e.g, "she's free in half an hour". The same as if I hadn't bothered making the appointment at all. In this kind of setup where you speak to a maid and can hear kids in the background, you can imagine a cigarette smoke-filled living room with a pile of cheap pay as you go phones, each one with sticky label attached displaying the made-up name of a prossie, dog-eared sheet of paper penned with prossie addresses, but no such list with appointment times on

This is why I hate the phrase 'working girls.' It is insulting to women who work in proper jobs.
In my experience the more reliable prossies are ironically the ones who have another job as they are more used to being reliable and punctual. The ones who do nothing other than flog their fannies full time are often unreliable.
