Has poor Ming actually taken any useful advice from this thread for his marathon punt? 

To get my two pennies worth in; I acquired a pill from a very close friend who is a pharmaceutical rep, who acquired it from one of his acquaintances in the industry,  which was a mixture of sildenafil and Dapoxetine which I think is a premature ejaculation pill & my god was it potent. I kid you not but a slight breeze would stiffen you up

Ming, i have used Sildenafil (considered Cialis but plumped for the cheaper option) as, like you, i'm not a youngster anymore. Eventually, i found that 100mg works best for me but does give me a flushed face. No headache though. Apart from that no other side effects.
I have used Lloyds Pharmacy online doctor in the past but it was not exactly discrete on my credit card statement (which the missus always looks at). Last time i used Express Pharmacy (or something like that) which shows up as Klarna on the statement (far less obvious as to what it is).
The Sildenafil didn't give me a raging hard on all day because, as DD has stated, you still need the sexual stimulation for it to work. I once used one and the WG turned out to be a right munter....as i was not in the least bit attracted to her, the tablet had no effect (which left me questioning its point). Next punt was a babe....no problem getting hard then but, if i hadnt taken one, i think once the condom went on i would probably have struggled to stay rigid. And, for me, that's the difference.

That was the point that I was trying to make earlier that you have to get the dosage right for your body.  Too much and you won't be able to cum but can fuck for hours.  The normal advice of "more is better" is actually worse with ED drugs.  Start at the lowest level and work your way up.  By all means, if you find a dosage that works, stay there and do not go to the next level.

I always use Lloyds and collect, normally a few days later. I go for Sildenafil and Pringy. Normally a 1/4 of each for 30min punts and 1/2 of each for hour punts.

TBH, I always have something before a punt as guaranteed a good time and to avoid performance anxiety or the risk of it! I think too much about stuff!

I do get some facial flushing and with half a tab, get a stinking headache, but ibuprofen and plenty to drink helps a lot.

Not sure how I would fit this info into a review, so thought best to reply here.

I ordered through Lloyd's online, you have to answer medical questions and state the meds you are currently on, apparently there can be dire consequences if mixed with nitrates which are contained in some blood pressure / heart meds.

The process was quite straightforward and I was re-assured as I was getting the tablets from a reputable source.
Once the Dr ok'd the prescription it was a simple matter of contacting the branch of Lloyd's I wanted to pick up from and they were available within a few hours of the Dr prescribing.

I got Cialis, it was very effective, though I am going to reduce the dose by half the next time I use it, as I had an embarrassing hard on that wouldn't quit every time I thought about sex for the next 24hrs after taking, great if you can use it, not so great when with a client and his far too sexy assistant comes in with coffee and a low cut blouse and short skirt 

As regards alcohol, there is a warning that alcohol can reduce the effectiveness, so one or two may be ok? Some of the advice I received above warned of the possibility of headaches and suggested drinking lots of water after taking the pill, which I did and had no headache. Another person advised (I think it was Dipsy) that if the dose is too strong it can make it difficult to come.
