I may have left this a bit late since I'm leaving today and I'm not expecting a huge response but you never know...

Anyone got any tips or experience of punting or parlours in Madeira?

Well.I tried Casablanca, which is a strip club and also a place where you can pay girls for GFE. Supposed to be open from 11pm until 5am but here's the pic I took stood outside at 11.30pm last night. No signs of life unfortunately.

I thought Madiera was where old people went to die (in the sun)? Probably one of the least likely places to get a shag in the entire universe.

I used to live in Lisbon and have punted in portugal before using street girls and parlours it's not complicated do a Google search and you should be able to find something good

Do you have experience of Madeira or are you just a know it all with no experience to back up your suppositions?

You might try persevering with Casablanca more than I did. Perhaps try ringing them (+351 963 099 637) to confirm opening times. Theres actually a really busy square to the left side of the picture shown with tables outside and it was really busy at 11.30pm with no signs of easing.

Hanging around bars is not possible, same with bringiing my burner phone. But would love to slip away for an hour if anyone can suggest a likely location.

Found a great street in grain canaria and Fed back on here, is there anything similar?

I was in Funchal in April. There were musicians playing in the square where Casablanca is located and although I was there on three different nights mostly till midnight or later I never saw a light or any activity or anyone climbing the stairs to the door. I was with the doris so I couldn't go up and bang on the door myself. I did wonder if there was another way in for those in the know but I didn't see one.

There is a place called the Badabing (how original can you get) that was definitely open when I walked by but couldn't go in for the same reasons. The pictures and stuff suggested strip and more was on offer. It's opposite the electricity museum in Rua Carlos so not far from Casablanca.

I had read somewhere that there was some street action in the street that runs up the side of the shopping centre La Vie Funchal in the centre of the town. I was staying in a hotel close by and popped out one evening under the pretext of buying milk(!). I walked the length of the street up and then down and spotted two girls on the way up. On the way back down one of them (a reasonably attractive blonde) made me an offer. It wasn't quite the "Hey big boy fancy a bit of sucky fucky" I got in Amsterdam but you can't have everything.

Thanks for the replies. Was getting despondent after the guide book turned up with no warnings of areas to avoid because of prostitution!

I can get away during pm and will try that street. Have looked on map and I presume it's not the busy dual carriage way but one of the others? Can you give more detail as pickings maybe slimmest that time of day and rushing around won't help.

The street is called Rua Maj Reis Gomes but I don't think you'll find any action there during the day as it's far too public with lots of shoppers. It was dark when I was there and the shopping centre was closing. Anyway, good luck!

Wikisexguide says (FWIW)....
The main streets involved now are ruas da Carreira, Alegria, Major Reis Gomes and Brito Câmara. Prices usually start from 20€ and can go up all the way to 50€. Negotiation skills are important to get a good deal.

Two very obviously working girls standing by Restaurant Taxiko on Estrada Monumental in Funchal last night. Black, not entirely attractive but not so bad you wouldneed 2 bags: one with sparse hair complemented by large, possibly enhanced chest, other lots of hair but not so much chest. Could not investigate further as with family...

Anyone got any recent info on Madeira or Funchal? I’ve had a look on one.pt and there are definitely active SPs on there, but as I’m not traveling alone an organized ping isn’t going to be likely. Ideally I’d like to find a whorehouse that I can call into on the spur of the moment for a quick pump and dump. I don’t have high hopes but a punter has to try…
