Immense Guilt After Punt

Not a positive first post by any stretch so apologies for that! I feel like i need to note before i start that i will be making more worthwhile contributions in the shape of reviews at some stage soon.

I have the feeling i may get ridiculed for this but despite enjoying the buzz of a punt i always feel overcome by guilt once its over. Sometimes to the point of being physically sick on the way back to the car (although this seems to be more linked to a crap punt!)

I envy some of the reviewers who drive home or get on the tube with a big smile on their face because i am the opposite regardless whether the punt was good, bad or indifferent. But it seems despite about 80% of my experiences being neutral or negative i still enjoy trying to find a good value gem. 

Anyway, is anyone else like this or am i just being a soppy ****?

If I had a hit rate as bad as that I'd find another hobby. Added to that your emotional turmoil, why on earth are you seeing prostitutes?

Indeed, I would of long ago retired from punting if my success rate was that bad.

My advice is take up Trainspotting or Stamp Collecting, hopefully the OP wont feel guilty with those pastimes.

You should stop and consider why you are doing this hobby ,if you've seen a number, and the outcomes are as bad as you say, in your case.  You could do so much better, maybe you need a different hobby.... one that doesnt involve you in feeling so sick of what you do.  Punting is not for everyone....

Apparently getting a reward occasionally , at unpredictable intervals (for any behavior, punting, gambling, relationships) is much more addictive than getting consistently rewarded.
That's what keeps gamblers hooked, also why people stay in crappy relationships that are occasionally tolerable.

A few questions. You say 80% of your punts have been bad. So how do you feel after those 20%. The same or somewhat better?

Are you married or in a relationship. Or are you using punting due to being a widow or to get over a breakup?

When you have this guilt is it due to the worry of catching an STD. Or of seeing a girl many years younger. The aspect of just paying a girl to 'put up with you' so to speak. Or because of the large amount of cash spent on an hours worth of sex. Or is it something else even?

The only time I would feel guilty about a punt is if I had a bad one. The reason being is that I would be kicking myself for making the wrong decision and spending money on getting a crap service. This is even worse when I travel a long way for a meet.

On reflection i have had a much higher percentage of good punts than i previously stated, so if you punt in the Essex area in particular keep a look out for some hidden gems that i will review.

I felt guilty after going to an absolute shithole of what turned out to be a thinly disguised brothel in Camden on my second ever punt and seeing the manky chinese girls who were there (was also bait and switched, not that i really twigged at the time) - not so bad that I didn't fuck one of them obviously, but I felt a bit of twinge afterwards as it was really grim (pic related).

I made a vow to avoid all chinese/japanese profiles since (even though i really have a thing for Asian girls, so any authentic recommendations appreciated in the London area) and only go for 100% independents, where possible.

Like has been said, if the punt made you feel like this after it. Then it was a negative (or at best neutral) punt and it would be good for a review afrer this so other punters in your area can be weary on booking the same girl.

Remember we pay a lot of money to feel good at the end of it. Not to feel like shit. And if we do it means the girl didn't do her job well enough.
