vivastreet photo verifications

I noticed today that VS profiles are saying that the photos are verified, don't think the actual verification photos will ever be viewable like AW though

I noticed this today, it would be good to know Vivastreet's process for verification as I'm sure I've seen a 'verified' profile which wasn't as such until quite recently and it has the same pics.

I tried to search their help & FAQ but found nothing

Hi and I'm glad you noticed the new feature.

No, the verification photos won't be viewable because of privacy concerns.

The process is that the advertiser has to send us a picture with the date and vivastreet written on it. Our team then compares the verification photo with the advert photos. Each and every time the ad is edited (new pictures uploaded or other amends), the check takes place again by our Moderation Team.

In cases where the girl has her face blurred in the pics, we ask for other identifying elements, such as tattoos etc to be visible.

Never used Vivastreet. Probably likely to show very poor service providers.
