I wasn't aware of this restriction, is it true? A lot of my posts use the profile pics rather than galleries so it can't be enforced very well.
Yep. 2 years ago we were "encouraged" to tick a box that said
"I certify that I have reviewed all of the free to view content on my Profile and it's associated pages and have removed any images that are unsuitable for minors. Furthermore, any images I upload to these areas in future will also conform to these standards." We were told that by doing this we will be seen by anyone/everyone visiting, and if you didn't do this you could only be seen by people who had age-verified on the site. We all thought GREAT! Cleans up the site, puts all the porn behind a pay wall, stops minor accidentally seeing it, etc.
So. Lots of us tick the box. Lots of us don't. What ACTUALLY has happened is that the ones who ticked the box gets their knuckles rapped for showing a nipple, and the ones who DIDN'T tick the box get left alone to show all the meat and jizz they want. Try reporting one of these, and you get told there's nothing AW can do as the profile owner hasn't ticked that box.
Consistency isn't in their dictionary.
