Author Topic: Owo the risks involved  (Read 23155 times)

Ok as we all know there's risk when it comes to owo, but obviously the risk is not as high as unprotected penetrative sex. So we still choose this option more times than not, as the feeling n sensation is way better than protected oral...

I contracted an std in the past from punting owo, so now I'm paranoid n always have oral with protection.
I have a partner now so it's very important that I'm extra safe to avoid catching/passing on anything to her when I do decide to have the odd punt now and then...

So what I want to know is...
Has anyone else caught an std thru owo?
And if you have a partner... Do u still go for owo if u punt?

Offline arcton85

Never caught anything from OWO and I don't have a partner.

What/how are you sure it was caught from OWO with a hooker?

Anyhow something that should be made more aware throughout the industry is that a major factor in disease spread from OWO is SPs brushing their teeth between clients. It weakens the mouth/blood barrier and so increases chances of transmission or viruses or bacteria. From a personal hygiene perspective that matters little because you rarely expose your mouth to novel environments and the main purpose is to clean out potential food sources for harmful bacteria that already exist in your mouth. But oral sex with a stranger essentially exposes your mouth to a novel biological environment and so brushing actually increases (a relatively small) risk. Mouthwash, which is actually designed to kill bacteria, is a much more sensible and safe option as it won't abrade the surface of your mouth or gums exposing the blood supply.

Yes, and no.

Got an infection (gonorrhea) from OWO with a WG last year. Haven't done OWO since.

There's nothing 'safe' about OWO. Anything you can catch from barebacking, you can theoretically catch from OWO. You learn a lot, sitting in the waiting room at the GU clinic and reading all the stuff about STIs.

Which is why I find it odd and slightly hypocritical that so many people get hysterical about bareback and castigate anyone who does it, and yet maintain their apparently God-given right to OWO.

OWO isn't safe. You might think it's worth the risk, and that's your choice. But all kinds of nasties can lurk in someone's mouth and throat without them even knowing about it.

I caught a STD from owo with a 'escort' not a hooker.... i think the difference there is a hooker is someone found randomly off a street, or are they classed as the same? i can tell you there was no biting when my owo happened and it wasn't vigorous.

Anyway if a Escort does CIM.... is it possible that earlier that day when she might of given another punter owo who came in her mouth, who is infected, then she may of passed it onto myself... even tho she was STD free?

How often do you think WGs get check ups? Must admit this has concerned me for some time, but I feel cheeky asking a girl at a booking.
Banning reason: Abusive + Obsessing over prossie

To be honest I get the inkling that most escorts would think Gum clinic is their dentist. :)

As with ing Nuts, I caught Gonorrhea from OWO from a girl at a supposedly respectable agency (bacteria show no respect or discrimination).

I found the experience shocking, frightening and chastening.
Haven't done OWO with a prossie since.

Never caught anything from OWO and i go to the GUM quartely to get checked out. I still require OWO from WGs if i have a partner.

All sexual contact with others especially strangers holds a risk, as a punter i punt on a risk to reward basis, OWO is worth the risk to me for the reward while BB penetration isnt. Only you can decide on the risk you wish to take of course.

Absolutely no idea which is why i dont just take their or any non-WGs word for it, but get myself checked out quartely at the GUM.

Its a case of taking a strangers word, i dont advise doing that when it comes to your health. Even certificates are not proof a WG hasnt been infected since the tests were done.

going to GUM clinic quarterly isnt enough if you have OWO with your punts and have a partner.... unless u practice safe sex with ur partner then its sort of fine.

How does one explain to his partner that he has a STD when they been in a steady relationship for lets just say 6months+?

almost impossible to wriggle ur way out of that one.

Any valid excuses? lol

What's that you're wiping on the sheet dear?

Answer sounds easy to me.

For single guys: Little or no risk. A couple of shots, some antibiotics, and stay off the booze for a day or two.

For married guys: High risk. Think buy a new house, lose the kids, maybe emigrate.

Do the statistics, whatever they are reassure you? It's a fact of life. If you are in a relationship, allow time between the last oral sex (with risk from 'pharyngeal gonorrhea') and letting your partner see or shag your cock or maybe even DFK you - long enough for symtoms to appear and to get them treated. If you do that, the risk is only the same as for single guys. Rare, but not infinitesimally so . . .

And for anyone still wanting 'statistics' . . . (((yawn)))

Just wondering, are some of these STD's treated with the same antibiotic you'd use for something like a gum infection?

If you had something down below you were'nt aware of and took a course of antibiotics for something else, could you unwittingly cure your STD?

afaiaa you could also simply mask it so it comes back. If you have a distaste for the GUM shop, look up the correct dosage in MIMS or something and go buy the stuff when you top up with whatever or travel abroad

It's possible.  But unlikely. The cure for gonorrhea is a large, single dose of a specific antibiotic. Trouble is, gonorrhea is getting smart and starting to resist all known drugs. And trust me, you don't want to be forced to live with it. But we may get to this point in as little as two to three years. It's actually pretty scary.

I love an uncovered BJ, same as the next guy. But here's the problem: your local tart can have a weekly GU visit, blood tests, urine tests, and all the rest. She can be clear of HIV, syphillis and all the other nasties. Great.

But then some guy a few hours before could've spunked in her mouth or throat, and that's it. What he had, you've got. There's no getting around it.

And it's not just hurting when you pee, and yellow stuff oozing out the end of the Old Chap. In my case, my left bollock mysteriously quadrupled in size. I looked like Buster Gonad from one side. Fortunately for me, it wasn't painful, but the doc told me it usually is.

I'd say, all in all, it was eight weeks before I was back to normal again. This is NOT an experience I intend to go through, ever again.

What are the risks when giving oral to a woman?

So you can pass an STD on via DFK? Or normal kissing?  How am I so uneducated in STDs

Should of payed attention at school while they played that SEX education video lol

What are the risks when giving oral to a woman?

Similar. Gonorrhea and herpes can transmit that way. Saliva and stomach acids can kill or subdue certain bacteria and viruses though.

Although I enjoy owo when I'm punting I've always be worried in the back of my mind what if I catch an sti from it, so I was wondering what kind of reaction do you get from a WG who offers OWO when you ask for protected oral?

I've only said it once. I just used the phrase "for both our sakes" with a shrug and a reassuring smile. They're really not bothered if they're getting paid and your not a complete cunt.

It wouldnt be enough if you get infected say a week after going to the GUM and getting the all clear and dont realize you have been infected and pass a nasty on to your partner. If its that much of a concern to you you have some options, only do all covered services and hope you dont get infected or dont bother punting and stick to wanking. Its why i said only you can assess what risks you are prepared to take. Punting is fucking strangers or virtual strangers for cash, not yet a vicars tea-party to me anyway, so there will always be a risk involved.
