I've seen a few posts referencing the use of WeChat as a way of finding WGs.

How do you go about using it, finding people and know who is up for it or not?

Just download the app on your phone, install it, put on a profile pic and go to "find people near me".

It's huge in China, especially.

My OH has spent most of the past three years in China, so I've basically just used it like Skype/WhatsApp/Facebook wall.

I guess my real question was how can you know who would be up for some fun? It is obvious from the find results, or is there an art to asking the right questions?

Usually in China I found the interesting conections appeared on "nearby" after 7:00pm.
Just click on a profile photo to reveal their moments line, more interesting photos may be there if they are looking to meet someone.

In China, you also need it if you meet a semi-pro in a KTV, so you can meet her in your hotel the next night. it also has built in translation so useful to chart to girls in KTV in the first place. She scans your phone to connect. No reason not to get it before you go. But set it up totally secure like a punter phone or AW account.

Used the people nearby function in central London a few days ago. Didn't really see anything, but after about 30 minutes someone sent me a message offering massage and more at an address on vauxhall bridge road.

Definitely seems an interesting feature!

I use wechat in China all the time.

Just put on people around and soon people will contact you

Never ever open a contact card this is a scam

Look for real people with a real history of moments and you increase your chances dramatically

This will not make sense to anyone without the app so get clicking

I tried the wechat thing in Asia (hong kong), using the app to find women for a fuck just felt like the long way around, as on backpage & craigs list most hookers were advertised there and wechat/whatsapp id's were readily available on their ads....so saved all the guess work.

On the back of this thread I downloaded We Chat onto my phone, all I can say is thank you for the best bit of advice anyone has given me from many trips to South East Asia. I'm currently in Davao and as it's very wet today been messaging local girls through the 'Near By' selection on the app. A girl has just left my hotel room now after we have texted for a couple of days and I'm meeting a female police officer tonight ( no working girls here), then hopefully another girl tomorrow (weather permitting)

Sorry to bang on about my new love for We Chat, but this app is incredible! (I have no vested interest in the company!!)
I've been in Davao since Tuesday and had 3 local girls in my hotel room and none were hookers.
I'm just off to meet the 4th girl now at the local G Mall near my hotel who looks incredibly cute on her profile pictures. There is a big university near by and most of the students are on We Chat.
There is a video call facility and the girls love to have fun on video, I've had some very hot late night calls with a few girls too.
Honestly guys, this app is dynamite in an area not overrun by tourist bars as apparently in the usual traps the WG's operate on there leaving it a mixture of local and WG. But in a place like Davao it's just local girls who dream about the white foreign guy and the obvious lol.

Apologies for the late reply to your question.
As for your answer; WeChat in an area 'off the beaten track' you'll find girls with ease as they're not surrounded by girls that are working in the tourist traps.
For example when I was in Mindanao. The girls on the app were simply local girls with everyday jobs/careers who haven't found themselves drawn into the bar scene etc. But as is the case Asian girls have a natural curiousness about 'Western men'. WeChat simply is an ideal conduit of introducing the two.
However, in the big cities; in my case Manila, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok - WeChat has been discovered by WG's, bar girls, masseuse etc and they advertise on the app not unlike Craigslist etc.

OK I have similar experience.

Wechat has done me proud on occasion but also almost guaranteed B&S in china

In BKK it solved my morning hard on on more than one occasion.

Last day in BKK before flying to Myanmar this evening. My usual routine when away is use the hotel or nearest gym first thing, but with WeChat the flirting continues. It's definitely the best app out there for meeting p4p or simply curious locals. Guys make WeChat as essential as your Passport is on future travel!

Thought I'd share a quick update to this chat.

Today in BKK used wechat in the morning to search "people nearby" all the usual massage girls and hookers contact me as usual.

But in addition to these another girls got in contact who turned out to be both hot and worked in an office. She was with her friends at terminal 21 and after and exchange of messages and getting some photos - we agree and she turned up at my room 15 mins later

Good chat great fuck with rimming etc

I do take the point made above they why bother if backpage etc quicker but maybe the point is you can meet normal girls looking for a bit of extra cash on their day off rather than hardened hookers. She hadn't fucked 5 other guys today and the 1500 bhat plus small tip was excellent value IMHO

Will go for a second helping for sure

BKK has so many options my biggest problem is often choice paralysis wechat doesn't help this by providing yet another avenue but I have had worse problems

China next week which will of course not be ass easy
