I normally buy Sildenafil citrate (aka generic Viagra) from Asda. I don't go very often as the 16 pills I buy will do 32 punts if I cut them in half. Well that's the plan. In reality I go through them slightly more quickly than that - popping a whole 100mg pill if I want to last for ages like Peter North.

Anyway I got to Asda Wembley branch today, after work. It's a bit of a trek from the West End but the closest I know of with a pharmacy in it. I spoke to the pharmacist's snotty-nosed clerk and when I asked to see the pharmacist for the necessary consultation I would need, he asked me what for. When I said it was because I wanted to purchase Sildenafil he launched into autopilot. No I couldn't just "turn up" and expect to have this drug made available to me there and then. I offered to wait till he had a few minutes (it literally only takes 5).  I'll wait an hour if necessary. Nope. "Come back on Wednesday at 8:30pm". I ask about alternative appointments. Snot-nose produces a clipboard with a printed out spreadsheet attached to it. I tell him I can come early evening on any weekday. "Next Tuesday at 2:25pm", he snaps, between sniffs and with an air of superiority about him as if his pharmacist buddy was dispensing an elixir of the Gods.  The key to eternal life which could be mine if I'm prepared to drop everything for the chance to have it. It felt like trying to book one of the forum darlings.

It transpires that the Sildenafil service at Asda has become so popular now that they're only able to offer it by prior appointment - which are themselves very limited.

I'd already noticed that these fuckers had gotten too greedy. The price has increased significantly in the last few months. I was originally an advocate of Asda's erectile disfunction service but in light of recent events I'd like to say a big, "Fuck you, Asda" as I look for an alternative source.

Thanks for listening :hi:

Kamagra on a empty stomach is great stuff! I have tried Sildenafil - although it gives me a good hard, it also gives me a bad headache. There are websites that sell Sildenafil.

Going into Asda/any pharmacy to get Viagra would drive me mad.

I use Lloyds pharmacy online.  I've never had any issues.

Regardless of company policy and the appointment schedule, the asda snooty guys attitude stinks. Ultimately he knew a customer was there for a sensitive issue and chose to be an idiot with a clip board

Exactly so - what a douche. Off the HL...

LL, cheers for the heads-up. Hope you find a better supplier

Same here - I don't know price-wise how they compare, but it is super easy - complete the online consultation and pick up in a matter of hours.

Thanks for the tips guys. The trouble with using Lloyds is that (I think) I would have to give my real name. Presumably a credit card payment is needed. I like to keep my meds usage off my records.  The alternative of ordering from unlicensed pharmacies online I'm not comfortable with either. The cheapest way for me to get the legit stuff would be to obtain a private prescription from a non-NHS doctor. I could then take that to any pharmacist to get the meds - and they're a lot cheaper with a prescription. Basically the "free" consultations at Asda and similar pharmacists where they can create a prescription for you either in person or online - these are not actually free as they factor it into the medication price. The difference with a private prescription is that you only pay for the consultation once.

I tend to buy the Indian generics online. Yes there is a risk but so far they've always been the genuine article.

I prefer vardenafil or tadalafil to Viagra - they last longer and are less likely to cause side effects.

How cheap does it become if you actually get a NHS prescription for these drugs? Is it the standard 8.20 or higher?

why not just go to your NHS GP and say you have ED,
he/she will prescribe sildenafil the same day.
(now its generic it costs them fuck all compared to branded Viagra)

If you have a missus, she doesn't need to know and they aren't allowed to tell
them,data protection etc...

I don't trust that. I'd be worried that I might receive a letter from the doc in relation to my prescription one day out of the blue and that my wife might accidentally open it. Seeing as you're a nervy fucker too - I'm sure you can relate  :D

Who is the cheapest legit sildenafil supplier out there at the moment?

Ditto. Going to Asda and speaking to someone seems a lot of time, hassle and embarrassment (for those of us who are shy).

I have no qualms buying Sildenafil from an online supplier with positive reports from others including UKP members. I've had a consultation with Lloyds and collected medication within the hour. Also ordered innocuous goods from SuperDrug and the order details seemed veiled in secrecy from then on - so I'd be inclined to trust them. It's so cheap to buy online though, a year's supply (bearing in mind a quartered 100 mg tablet does me for a punt) cost me less than £20 last time around.

But isn't that the normal ASDA level of (non) helpful response no matter what you buy? You want cheap, well the lack of service goes with it!   :hi:

I guess if you're not concerned about your identity you can always ask your GP for a private prescription for Silfidenil. I tried it once when I was there, for a different reason, and my GP just wrote one out with very little fuss. I've done that for the past few years, and used a local chemist, last time I did it I got 4x100mg tablets for less than a tenner! I did use Lloyds and Dr Fox before, but found it twice as expensive.

Only letter I've ever had from a doctor said I had to make an appointment about some blood test results. Turns out i had Infectious mononucleosis, but no reference to that in the letter.

Honestly you can worry to much about this!

You still need a prescription for it as far as I know. Your GP shouldn't have a problem if you say you have erectile dysfunction. I got mine a few years ago, and when I run out I use a repeat prescription form to request another. Mind you, I only get it once every few months, just to make sure they don't think I'm abusing it.

Lloyds Pharmacy has worked for me too,  you have to wait for the approval to come through the first time but I think it is within 24 hrs, however once done, re-ordering more is very easy and quick !.

For me they worked the same. Although for me both take effect within a few minutes (on an empty stomach), which is not typical.
