Hi Guys, I've joined up so I can warn you about naughty_lil_minx2 in Plymouth. I went to see her yesterday eve and after entering her bedroom and paying £60 I got undressed and she went to stash the money. She came back and had only been in the room 30 sec when there was a load noise downstairs. This was followed by a black man in a hoody entering the room. He said this is my girlfriend what is going on. He told me to leave so I tried to get my money back but of course there was no chance and I was feeling very threatened by this time.

The address is [Removed by admin] Stoke Road, Plymouth and the no. she used was 07582265297 and the girls real name is [name removed by admin]. I found out her name from a  neighbor that was on the stair well as I left. This other girl asked if I had been scammed as I left (I looked a bit upset and scared which is why she talked to me I think). She told me they have been working this scam for some time and that a few guys had been ripped off. She said that no one would go to the police so they just keep getting away with it!
Anyone have any ideas how to sort these crooks out? Should I tell the police anonymously as I think someone could get hurt by this black guy or what should I do. Any advice appreciated!

Cheers Simon

Go to the police, obtaining money by intimidation is a crime.

Hi Ali, thanks for the reply. I have sent them a text telling them I would go to the police. They have responded with physical threats and have also said they will tell the police I tried to rape their 15yr old daughter (I don't think there is any daughter 15 or otherwise). I have all the texts on my phone (including the booking details and threats etc.). These are really nasty people. Would the police handle this discretely from my point of view if I report it?

Offline James999

Report it to the Police and show then the threat you received

The profile states she is 21 so she would have been around 6 when she gave birth  :dash:

Will they fuck. If you have a wife or girlfriend my advice is dump your sim card, and chalk it up to a nasty experience. You've warned others which is noble but police discretion do me a favour.

I don’t have a wifey but I do need things to be discreet. I am just concerned that someone might get physically hurt by these people and if I thought I could tell the police without it causing me to much grief then I would. I live in a small rural community and don’t want everyone knowing what I sometimes get up to!

Ok the likely scenario is, you inform the local plod they will take your statement.
Then visit the alleged offender/s who will no doubt deny any such offence took place.
So if you are hoping to get your money back or that they get prosecuted you'll probably be out of luck.
The best you can hope for is they might be on the local plods radar in future.

In the unlikely event that CPS decide to prosecute with severe lack of evidence there will be a court case, most likely magistrates where you will have to give evidence as a witness if the defendant pleads not guilty. Which could lead to the case being heard in crown court. There will be journalists in court in either event, need I say more?

I think chalking it down to experience might be your best bet, given it is a small community. The text message you received could be construed as blackmail. There isn't enough evidence for a conviction.

 yep, thats why you have got to be VERY careful when selecting as this reminds me of the UKASH online cash Ransom Trojan con! They make it an embarassment to you so you will not contact the Police as in this case you would SELF-Incrimate yourself!  :bomb:  Like with the UKASH Trojan con,you are convinced in that case the Police have actually seized your computer for downloading illegal music or porn and some fall for it!  Similar in your case that  the fact of your actually doing a form of petty crime would be a no no in contacting the LAW! :diablo:

Yes, this is what I think too. Not likely to get anywhere but likely to attract attention that I don't want. Not much I can do legally but I hope that people will see this and know not to go near her. It's certainly put me off seeing girls over here and I'm kicking myself for ever going into a block of flats alone! Still, you live and learn I suppose!

You can report it anonymously to crimestoppers - better than doing nothing IMHO.

She's on AW and has had recent good feedback, both from the same guy though! She fed back on him too, maybe they let a few slip through to keep the feedback going.

Commiserations. This exact scam was popularised in a Japanese movie I watched in Hong Kong    Not that that helps you much though.

If possible, create another profile with a new email address FROM a different IP Address (e.g. Internet Cafe) and
post a feedback Only comment about being ripped off by her pimp, and provide the full address details within your feedback.

This is what the Mansfield Guy who got ripped off did (in the first post at the very top). When she created a 2nd
profile, he even went on there and left the same comment in her feedback.

Again and I will keep reiterating this leave feedback with the URL to this thread - everyone can then publically see what a skank she and her friend in crime is!

She has her feedback hidden, so I don't how much difference it would make as her and her pimp are the only ones that can read it.

This. Especially if the neighbours welfare is a concern as well.

I am not a fan of underhand tactics but an option would be to book her up enough to make her disappear because of no shows!?

Whats worse in your opinion - new profile with no feed back, restricted feed back thats in single figures or restricted feedback in high numbers?

Offline The dog

This. Especially if the neighbours welfare is a concern as well.

I am definitely concerned for others, there was obviously young children living in the house. I am not a small guy and could probably have given the black guy at least a hard time. Actually I was fairly scared and wondered if he had mates in on it as well but what if I had decided to take my money back? Just what you want in front of young kids, a punter and a pimp brawling in the house. Very unsavoury people to be sure to even consider this sort of scam around their children!

Then social services should be alerted and that can be done anon!

She has her feedback hidden, so I don't how much difference it would make as her and her pimp are the only ones that can read it.

I can see her feedback on AW?  :unknown: And someone has left her positive feedback today! :dash:

Has she been reported to AW at least?

If you got mugged then I genuinely feel sorry for you.

But at the same time your post is a little too troll-ish for my liking. Posting someone's real name, address and telephone number as your first post I'm hearing alarm bells.

The Police? Forget it- you were engaging in a borderline illegal act and the fact you're contemplating saying she had an abusive violent boyfriend barge in wouldn't look too good on your police report as you were an accessory to a crime- and thats her pimp.

Also social services would only get involved if there were genuine signs she had a child in danger- but it sounds like they were bluffing as James pointed out at 21 she's be 6 if she'd had a 15 year old daughter.

Chalk it up to experience- £60 is not a lot of money to lose- but leave do feedback on her profile to warn others on her profile so we know you are genuine.

Offline rylond21

The exact same thing happened to me around a similar time. In hindsight should have realised as it was a horrible looking flat. Hope this happens to no one else. Leave bad feedback to warn others.
