Evening gents.

I'm planning to see a popular London WG in a few weeks for a two hour session.

I'm still fairly young so no problems down there but contemplating experimenting with the supposedly popular Golden Root Complex. I've read good and bad things about it and will only be taking half a dosage if I do decide to go for it but got a few questions as follows;

How long on average does the first pop last?
How long do subsequent pops last?
How long in between to get it back up?
Anyone experienced any unsavoury side effects?

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

I've not even heard of Golden Root, but I do know the answer to your first three questions - nobody can answer them as everyone is different.

I've used it for a while. After a bit of trial and error, I take half a capsule (225mg) a couple of hours before punting.  I get a bit of facial reddening / flushing about half an hour later; lasts for another half hour or so. After that no other side effects. Once up, I can then stay up for anything from 20 to 40 minutes for the first pop; sadly my energy and wallet are spent by then, so I've never done a second pop. Definitely improves my punting experience.

Kamagra is my tip.  Haven't bothered with the GR pill - hit & miss IMO.  The Kamara liquid sachets are fast acting & good for 2nd pops / extended sessions.  And much cheaper than viagra & no headaches

I've tried this and the only thing it gave me was a 6 hour headache. :dash:

Have used alternatives in the past (and certainly not commenting on quality of the pills mentioned), but don't forget the old adage for using non-prescription drugs of this nature, "dying for a hard on!"

Too many dodgy dealers out there so I would recommend only legit suppliers.   :hi:

Don`t waste your money that way, just send me your cheque for £10 and I`ll cast a magic spell via the Internet that will work much better, and you won`t have to dispose of the wrapping.

Personally, Golden Root is a waste of money. It is a herbal medicine combining extracts of various plants that probably won't do you any harm and may improve your general well being. Not much evidence that it will actually help you get or maintain an erection.
The true drugs on the market- Viagra, Levitra, Cialis, Zydena- all work in the same way and inhibit an enzyme called PDE5. You can't go wrong with these and they are proven to work with the majority of men with minimal side effects.

Offline regular_guy

wouldn't waste time with the herbal stuff like Golden Root you get from a pub toilet vending machine.

If you feel you want something to help,  just get something prescription,  nice and easy and discreet with online doctors. Sidnafil seems to be the one that works best with me,  but others are available

I've used Golden root and it does make a difference for me, I found previously before using it after the first pop it was difficult regain hardness but with golden root i can get up again in a matter of minutes and get very hard, it can give you indigestion and a headache afterwards but treat these in the usual way, I tend to take a couple of ibuprofen shortly after taking the GR pills and also take an indigestion tablet such as Ranitidine then all is good, you need to ensure you are well hydrated by drinking water.
I have found the results great and have enabled me to keep going for ages, the first time i used it before going to a 3 hour party at TLC and i managed 6 times but only managed to cum 5 times, It gives me a more intense orgasm and does help to prolong the first pop, it works for me but may not work for all.
I bought Mendurance(which is the same sort of thing) off the shelf in Sainsburys or you can get it from vending machines in various toilets etc.
Works for me anyway

My question would be are there any dangers with taking something like Kamagra if you take heart medication?

It depends on what you take your `heart medicine` for, but the only person who can answer that question properly is the doctor who knows you and has your medical records

Well without them I fear an erection would be the least of my problems.

As far as medicines go, erectile dysfunction drugs like sildenafil, vardenafil and tadalafil are very safe. You're unlikely to have a problem if you are on any other medication.

The main cardiovascular risk is the physical exertion to your body caused by sexual activity rather than interference with your heart medication. If you are at risk of having a heart attack all that vigorous pumping might bring one on! On the other hand, sildenafil is actually used to treat a particular form of hypertension so it might do you good.

The biggest real side effect of sildenafil is in the eyes, it can cause blurring, colour distortion or seeing spots. If that happens, switch to one of the other drugs. Another issue can be increased blood flow throughout the body and not just the penis, leading to flushing and headaches for example.

Some vending machines, in toilets stock these pills (and others). Along side condoms, mints, durex play vibrations and other items.

I take 10mg of Bisoprolol and 5mg of Lisinopril so I'm already on medication to lower my BP, taking something that could lower it further is s tad concerning. Thankfully, I'm not at risk of a heart attack so furious thrusting shouldn't kill me  :yahoo: Are Vardenafil etc prescription only or where would I see about getting them?

Sildenafil is the most widely available as even Asda has the generic version- see the thread on that. Because it is cheap, it is the GP's choice for prescription. However, if you report side effects (or claim to have them) you can ask to be put on one of the others like vardenafil or tadalafil.
All the erectile dysfunction drugs are available online. The cheap supplies are generics made in India and I haven't had any problems with them.

I forgot to answer your concern with blood pressure. These are typically 'lifelong drugs' that your doctor expects you to take everyday. But you're highly unlikely to have a heart attack if you stop taking them for a few days or a week. If you are worried, just don't take the blood pressure pills on the day you're using Viagra.

It's not advisable to just stop taking Bisoprolol even if it's just for a day, it's pretty clearly stated on the pharmacists note and any time I've gone without them hasn't been a good experience for me. I know not taking them wouldn't give me a heart attack but I also know I need to take my medications daily.

Thank you though, I'll have a look at the thread you mentioned and have a mooch around my local Asda.

If ur using zinc use in conjunction with folic acid about 1 g a day that way increases the volume of ur cum aswell as erection

Offline dayblue99

I used golden root a few years ago before Viagra became more easily available
Worked for me
I got a blue haze in a similar way to Viagra
Was that just me
I wondered at the time if it had the Viagra active ingredient in it

Offline MilleMiglia

I heard from a guy who knows that some of the alternative Chinese herbal meds used to contain more sildenafil than the real thing. Whether they still do is another matter.

Offline dayblue99

Thanks for that
Always wondered
Thought it was just me

Offline dayblue99

Not good for someone who can't take Viagra for health reasons and chooses golden root as an alternative because it's herbal

Tried these  blue pills from vending machines. Imo they are a complete waste of time. They do absolutely nothing. Your better off spending the £3 on a box of tictacs it will have exactly the same effect but at least your breath will smell nice.

Now that is a damn good tip previously unknown to me.   It's off to Holland and Barratt's for me. Me and Mini-me will report back in a week or so with the results.....CHEERS!

Offline dwaynepaine

Better of checking your local supermarket, etc, before going to Holland & Barrett for zinc / folic acid as there will be a big price difference. H&B ok for non-standard stuff but still cheaper off the interweb.

That's so true.... ....Just checked online, much cheaper at Boots.   Also just read online, Vitamin E and Vitamin b6 are excellent for reducing your prolactin levels, ie the stuff that lengthens your recovery time between rounds one and two.

So, it's off to Boots.    :yahoo:

I see that idiot Gspotter was banned for slagging of UKP members.

Maybe he doesnt like us and thats why he is giving advice that potentially could kill. I am not a Doctor so you should do you own research but I thought it was common knowledge taking sildenafil or other PDE5 inhibitors and nitrates is potentially fatal. Nitrates are commonly found in medicines to treat heart conditions like angina and products like poppers.

You're unlikely to have a problem if you are on any other medication. is rubbish  :bomb:
