When do you think they realise they're over-charging?

I know WGs are *generally* not rocket scientists or university professors (I'm not saying they're all thick - some I've met are by no means stupid - but you get my point). But surely they must have SOME basic business sense, and there must be a point at which that business sense kicks in?

SURELY at some point she'd take a look at the competition, think "hmm, I wonder if I'll get more custom if I drop my prices a bit?" Advertising (especially by premium brands) conditions us to think expensive = good and more expensive = better. Furthermore, when it comes to hiring almost any other sort of service provider then if you think it's expensive to hire a professional then see how much it costs when you hire an amateur. Newbie punters don't always realise this 'profession' is the exception to the rule and/or don't learn from the mistakes of others. More experienced punters might not learn from their own mistakes, or convince themselves that 'this one's going to be different'......which it rarely is.

But as long as enough punters bite, you can't blame a profit seeking WG for (say) charging one bloke £300 for an hour rather than three blokes £100 for the hour.
