Oh no, I well appreciate there evidently was a humorous, sarcastic undertone to the girl's attitude - and possibly to the OP's review, now that I think of it. I'm actually finding it increasingly difficult to take the whole thing seriously, reading more and more like "Carry on Punting" than an actual review. Yet another reason why I labelled the experience "fucking bonkers" as opposed to "fucking awful".

I'd say we're agreed that whatever happened, entertaining or not, it still wasn't good value.
