Looking for advice for an old newbie?

Hello All,

Been a lurker for a couple of months or so and finally took the plunge to join. Like all newbies I am looking for the benefit of the wisdom of the old hands here.

I am young 60 and looking to punt for the first time, probably the only time as I doubt my nerves will stand another go at it. I have taken all the recommended precautions, anonymous email, PAYG sim, covering computer tracks etc.

I travel to the smoke often enough for it not to raise any suspicions so thinking of punting while there, and I am looking to tick a few boxes, A-Levels, OWO, RO, and CIM at the top of the list and ideally an non smoking English lady.

My thoughts are leaning to using an agency as it may be an on the day booking and I really want to make this a positive experience as it may only be a one off.

So, given I am a newbie to all this and will probably be only having the one bite at the cherry, so to speak, what would you advise?

The budget is not too important, within reason.
Limit to 1hr or go for a 2hr?
Younger?
Mature?
Duo even!?
Any particular ladies or agencies recommended?
Is my age likely to be a problem?
Anything else to consider?

Any and all constructive advice would be welcome as I really want to make this one count. Otherwise I may be forced to keep on trying until I find one that does!

Haha, I would be careful, this punting hobby can definitely be habit forming. You say this will be the only one and only time now, but give it a few weeks...

Welcome to UKP Mouse. It's actually pretty difficult to make recomendations as your criteria are so loose (and obviously personal preferance is difficult to nail down in a brief post). As I'm sure you've noticed from this section of the board it's more of a problem of too much choice rather than too little in London at the moment, especially if you are willing to go up and down the price scale.

If I was in your shoes and wanted to make it a trip to remember I might take the top amount I was willing to spend on a 2 hour "mega-punt" and split that into a number of smaller/ shorter punts that have some variety.

I recently did an hour and a half with an independent girl, an hour in a parlour and a 10 minute visit to a soho walkup on a recent trip to London (I was exhausted an ached for days afterwards though!). They were all very different experiences and it was certainly memorable and fun , but might not suit your tastes.

If you can refine your criteria a bit we might be able to make some concrete suggestions?

My advice would be, break your 'duck', on a random, well reviewed girl (25-35yr age group), rather than trying to hit all the items on your 'wish list'.

Your first visit will already be marred by nerves, so get that done. Then track down various girls for Duo's, A, CIM and enjoy yourself.

There is such a tiny, miniscule chance your 'one visit' will be exacty what you expect, and the girl you viist will be an expert in all the things you want to do.

I would suggest that if this is going to be the start and may be the only time, believe me it is unlikely to be, once you get hooked, you'll be at it as often as funds and opportunity present themselves ---- put your maximum budget into a well reviewed duo in late twenties/early thirties for 90 minutes or 2 hours ---- that way there is no rush, you get to live out a "fantasy", have all your boxes ticked and most importantly are likely to have a great time. 60 is certainly not too old, there are plenty of fellas on here over 50 who enjoy a very active punting life. Hi, welcome to UKP, 60 def not old! - I'm approaching 62 but still have a stiff cock/appreciate what's on offer, so not giving up entirely! - without any need for Viagra etc- yet!

As others have said, prob best to investigate 2-3 different routes, spread out your £ so as to prevent being disappointed, altho you might like your first choice, who knows?

There are plenty of options, try researching agencies on AW and [Banned site removed by admin], or do a geographical/age/preference etc search on AW to narrow it down

It's all down to what type of woman you want and what you want to do when you see her of course, we all have our particular requirements/favourites etc

Excellent advice there from NelsonH. You won't go far wrong if you follow that.

Only things I would add are:
Ensure you are clean and fresh although no need to dip you head in a bucket of aftershave.
If the WG you select asks if you would like a shower have one. Haven't got to spend ages but you will be all clean and nice smelling and far more likely to get OWO.

If you have a bit of a bucket list of things you have always wanted to do, probably best not to try to do all of them. Pick one or two.

Remember you don't need to impress her.

I also agree with previous posts that say one punt leads to a second, then a third etc.

Limiting your options may not yield the best results IMO.

Punting is taking a chance.

Some times punters need to step out side of there conform zone. But also be ready to walk if need be (with a back up plan)!
