Author Topic: That punting feeling!  (Read 1044 times)

When should you listen to 'that' feeling you get before punting, that kind of nerves and excitement.

I have it now, a punt lined up for tonight but got this feeling... I'm 90% sure it will be good, got my cover story sorted but something doesn't sit right.... Do i listen to it or not? That is the question!

I shit my pants every time about an hour before. Better in the pub than down the lady's toilet. They don't like it.
But I have also learned if I don't feel that way then something is wrong.

So listen but make sure you listen correctly....

Well I've gone with it, just waiting for the call as she's running a little late and the feeling has gone mostly me... Even after God knows how many punts it never goes away!!

it goes for some, for me it never will so just dont worry about it.

Firstly it's called punting for a reason so IMO you did the right thing going through with it!!

Secondly the fact that you haven't posted since 8.13 suggests she came good and that your are now up to your nuts in guts!!

I find it's a fine line: too relaxed about it and it could be either a dull punt or I'm being complacent; too anxious and it could mean I've got a bad gut feeling about the girl or my cover story. There's a nice zone in the middle where I feel a good frisson which is just the right side of the line between excitement and fear :)

Well, all done and dusted.. For the most part it was enjoyable.  She is a sweet girl, young and very new to this and it shows, luckily I've been doing this long enough now to be able to move things along.  Chloe now has red hair too And is quite attractive, I have certainly been with a lot worse but hey, that's a proper genuine teen ticked off the list  :hi:
