Having always wondered about Vivastreet ads, wondering how genuine they are and curious because the girls often look nicer than on AW, I decided a little while ago to take the plunge and see what's what.
One of the ads that caught my eye is
External Link/Members Only. I suspect it won't be online much longer so here's a screen shot of it at the time of writing:
Hidden Image/Members OnlyReverse image searches didn't suggest any obvious problems. (I've just run them again and there are now some results that would put me off.)
In order to minimise the risk of B&S I decided to ring rather than text. I got a reply to say I should text instead. Thinking the girl might be busy I did, but in retrospect I never should have

. Lesson one learnt.
I asked whether the photos were genuine and also about availability later that day. Communication was fine, so I set out. Got the house number when I arrived and went in. Hiding behind the door was not the girl from the photos

At that point, I should have walked. Lesson two learnt.
However, she looked OK, around the same age as stated in the ad, and came across as friendly enough. I followed her in and although the place looked like a dump

I thought I'd just make the most of it after the drive. Yep, another reason why I should have walked. Lesson three learnt.
There's not much to say about the action. Everything I wanted was delivered, but without any enthusiasm. Fortunately I'd only paid for half an hour, and I was happy to be out on the street again.
Has this made me more suspicious of VS? Definitely. Has it put me off using it completely? For some time, yes, but as some others have been less unlucky than I perhaps not forever. However, I'll be even stricter with reverse image searches, and will also only consider going if I've spoken to a real person on the phone. If anyone else has any other advice on how to navigate the minefield that is VS sensibly then I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one who would like to hear it...
