Hi I have just been on Bangkok Addicts and one post suggests supported by others, you need a budget of 10,000B a day, is this right? I'm thinking of visiting soon! Thanks

10k a day to include what? Is that hotel costs plus food drinks tourism etc and punting or just for punting?

And what do you want to do - one girl a day ? Plus massage etc? So it really is “it depends “

Fwiw- when I am in Bangkok or Pattaya come to that - I allow approx 10k per day as a ball park figure for everything except hotel costs!   Some days I might be below that, other days I will exceed that! Money goes further in Pattaya of course!

There are previous threads where guys have said they did Pattaya for about 2500 per day ( punting and food and drinks etc so clearly you can do it for less than I spend - but equally there are guys who spend considerably more! But as a ball park figure guide, it’s not a bad figure to roll with!

I think that's reasonable if you eat western food, like to drink and bf nana girls. But you could do half that easily.

Depends, obviously if you are looking to take GoGo girls then the prices will be much higher, but if you are taking bar girls, gents clubs, bj bar or massage shop girls its much more reasonable. In most cases you can have short time with a girl from anywhere between 1-3000 baht, so it really depends on how many sessions you are planning per day.

Where in Bangkok can you get a half decent girl for 1000? In my experience even street freelancers are 2000 or more!
But as we have said, it does depend on your activity- but remember if you only get one girl for short time , what else are you doing in the day and evening- tourist stuff costs money etc

Op - yes you can do it for less particularly if you are younger ( not an oldie) but if it’s your first time in Bangkok, then you want to do some tourist stuff as well as some punting stuff so imo, allow a minimum on 5k per day and as previously said, a 10k per day budget allows you to have non stop fun!
I would add that if you are there for more than just a couple of days , then think about going to Pattaya- it’s only 2-2.5 hours taxi away (c1500baht) and the fun and prices there is a lot better!
