I spoke to her yesterday and if she was able to get back then she would. If anyone knows of a suitable venue then let me know

Has she checked airbnb? a few properties come up on there. Or spoken to any friends in that area? (jolanda if she was from around there)

Is she looking for a permanent residence, or a short term let for business?
If it's the latter then the Thai, Chinese, Rom, Polish tourers all manage to find places in the centre of Northampton via Airbnb or similar. Daily rates are well below her hourly rate and with the inevitable queue of customers she's easily cover that. The only thing is that she might have to cut down on the excessive use of oil

Yolanda's place isn't an option. When I have mentioned AirBnB places to her in the past she has been concerned about security.

What's the alternative to something like AirBnB for short term stays?

She could try to find a private rent, but is that viable for a few days at a time, and let's be honest they'll carry the same security risks, if not more, than AirBnB

Alternatively there's hotel rooms - I know she was looking at this at one point because I had a booking with her but it fell through due to issues getting from Liverpool to Northampton. We've all heard of 'Rain stops play', this was a case of 'RMT scuppered fun (short notice rail strikes)'. There's the fun and games of getting her guests past reception but beyond that I'd say they were probably the most secure option

Any development on this, as Northampton is very dry, and requiring Cassandras oil!

I would imagine you'd have to put your name down on a five year waiting list if she ever returned to Northampton as she was so popular and only took a few bookings a day  :dash:

She would love to come back but accommodation here is an issue for her. She is also in a good job atm. If it is going to happen I will let you all hear it here first

Air bnb solves her accommodation issue. I imagine if she's got a good legit job and a bloke she probably doesn't really want to bugger about, but in her head she'd probably like to earn the money again.
