Having now given up almost in trying to find anything reasonably decent on AW, started to look at Viva Street for local options.

Looked good, quick reply back with the address (airbnb on a decent street), then "I need 50% deposit", I replied that I could be there in 15 minutes but got back nonsense excuses on why it was needed due to her being messed about!

Declined the meeting. Thoughts from anyone, 100% scam or any other intel?

I was all set to meet someone today and then last minute she wants a deposit
