Author Topic: AW reverse bookings  (Read 1938 times)

I'm posting this for the info of anyone new to reverse bookings so you don't make the same schoolboy error I did.

Just advertised my first reverse booking on AW in a few years.

I forgot my old rule of adding a rider that just because I'm prepared to pay up to £500 for a couple of hours, doesn't mean I will pay that price if it's well above the advertised rate of an SP, and they should bid accordingly or be ignored. Already getting offers from SP's at £500 where that is almost double their advertised rate. Unfortunately because someone has bid, I can't amend the booking request.

I had a lot of success with reverse bookings in the past and I'm hoping for a diamond in the rough to come out of it this time.

(This is for a hotel in the Leamington Spa area hence posting in West Midlands).

I automatically reject the ones that bid the maximum as they:

1. Didn't read the ad properly, so I am wary of them delivering what is asked for
2. Are taking the piss

I usually put the price I am prepared to pay but then in the description of what I am looking for use the words “ happy to negotiate the fee up or down, depending on services offered and duration”

I do find like you say a “diamond in the rough” using the reverse booking system as the SP’s that are availbale will approach you that you don’t even realised existed and a good way to find the real gems that don’t rely on AW for their sole income.

I've had several responses and almost all automatically quote the £500 I put in the booking as my potential offer, regardless of what their usual rate is. Any that take the piss are deleted straight away.

I've had one who contacted to say she can meet, but needs to be the following month! I guess you have to give credit for her entrepreneurial efforts.

I'm down to two left (for the moment). One is very tempting but 40 minutes drive away and who says she can't make it to me (although she advertises outcalls on AW but maybe she's without car at the moment or something). I would be on her like a rat up a drainpipe but can't really manage the additional 1 1/2hrs or so travel time that would be necessary.

The other one is also very tempting, but needs to travel up from Bristol (business maybe not so good at the moment if she's wanting to come that far). I'm going to give her a no too as I'm not going to do the deposit that she has asked for.

I've had a lot of success with reverse bookings in the past and have occasionally received bids below the advertised price for a particular SP. Maybe my mistake was going in too high to begin with making me seem like a soft touch.

Oh well, there's a few days before the suggested meet so I still live in hope!

As you say you do sometimes find a real diamond that you wouldn't have found any other way.

From previous experience I think AW defaults their bids to your offer unless they override it.  The brighter, more experienced ones, realise this. The ones who just bid on everything often don't.

I always put a lower rate than normal. I do check they are happy with it before accepting and sometimes find they didn't realise what they had bid. Sometimes they honour it, often we've agreed a rate hight than my RB BUT below their normal rate.

I have also quite often had AW mail contact from interested ladies to discuss the RB before they bid

I've had some brilliant meets in the past when I used to stay away for work
I'd put my RB up at say £300 for 2 hours and get responses from SB's whose advertised rate was way above this.
Didn't always work....but had some cracking meets

I’ve done similar in the past. This time I stupidly thought that putting a premium price would attract a premium WG. I’ve been flooded with offers almost all at £500 regardless of the girl’s usual rate (as I now understand their reply defaults to the offer price unless they have the wherewithal to change it).

One even made two offers at two different prices - both above the offer price.

Anyway, booking now made with one who offered at her going rate.

In future I’ll go lower with my stated price and see what happens.

I don't mind paying if it's a little extra. I got some crazy offers as in  crazy good in London. From girls who normally charge a lot more. It was 2 - 3 hours dinner date and 1 hour bedroom/hotel fun.

I didn't review it because in the end I had to cancel but I favourite all the good bidders.

I have not had much sucess with RB
The last one I had a few offers and accepted one who looked promising
Drove 40 mins and then was ghosted when I phoned to say I was at the location....
