As we all know DIY shaving down here can be challenging. Whilst waxing is an alternative I would like to know if anyone has had any experience of the various battery operated male grooming/shaving devices now on the market that can be used for beards and for nether regions as well.  Are they any good ? It would be nice if the massage shops offered the servicer wouldn't it. I don't think many do but if anyone knows of and has tried any especially in Glos please shout out.  Thanks in advance

Philips OneBlade is good and comes with various guards but you need the green body guard for shaving your bits. Amazon are doing a £20 off deal at the moment and they also sell after market guard sets which work just as well as the official ones.

I've tried devices by Babyliss and Braun
neither were any use - they left stubble like sandpaper. But then neither worked on my face either

A nice, warm shower, followed by a slow and patient shave with a razor. It is the best way for me.

I use this combo of blade and guard and it leaves no stubble and no cuts either. I used to use Veet every two weeks but it can cause burns so now I just do regular trims with the OneBlade and it's much less painful

Was it you that left the review describing it in detail on Amazon?

I did upload photos of before and after but people complained that they need a magnifying glass

Surely waxing your bollocks is pretty painful?

first time resulted in quite a rash - looked like chicken pox
subsequently hardly any problems. Doesn't hurt at all

This is fantastic, tried it both wet and dry, and I couldn't cut myself even when i tried to. Absolutely amazing product. Tried manscape and all the rest, this is something that actually does what you want.

Buy a big tube of Veet? Apply liberally, wait five minutes, jump in shower / bath and wash it off - the hair comes off with it. (Take care not to block the plughole).

Lying in a nice hot bath and doing it with  a Gillette Contour razor has always been my way. Never drawn blood .

but if you leave it on too long you get chemically burnt bollocks and they stick your underwear.

Which is why you wash it off after a few minutes.

Mind, think the directions say 6 minutes, and I've left it on for twice that without mishap. (I'm not qualified to offer advice on such matters!)

The problem is that everyone is different so they need different amounts of time. Some may have thick hair and others thin hair. I've left it on for 5 minutes and that's worked ok. Other times I've accidentally left it on for 7 minutes and that was ouch! for 2 days until the skin healed.

The diagram doesn't show it on the bollocks.

No - it is expressly forbidden in the instructions!  :scare:

Which I ignore.  :hi:

I’ve been shaving my Crown Jewels for years now, nicer for the ladies to gently lick the plums, and have tried Veet, ladies razors and creams and all sorts in between, and this is by far the best I have found. A blade and shave cream specifically for us blokes. The cream cleans everything a treat too and yer arse if you want a rimming.
You can get on Amazon etc, this link mentions a club to buy from. Ignore that and look at the razor and cream products.

Isn't that just a standard Gillette razor but in black with an unneeded shower hook and an extra £x on the price?

My experience says no … but ymmv

Maybe the glide strip is different and the shave cream more tailored to pubic hair… I have no idea. But it works really well

Me too.  I use a Gillette Fusion power razor.  Clean shaven tackle definitely attracts more tongue action.

This reminds me of one day a very long long time ago when my poor mum mistook a tube of bveet for toothpaste. Her howls of anguish and disgust still haunt me as does the smell stuff in the bathroom. It probably smells better now but still won’t work as toothpaste  :vomit:

Veet does smell rank to be fair.

Well, it was more that I just stopped treating it as the crown jewels and being ultra careful and just started doing it as i would on my face or something.  It _can_ cut if you really try to slice it (accident), but by and large, you'll be totally fine.  Especially in the shower but you'll miss more then compared to when dry.  Either way, I heartily recommend over all other options I've tried

Gillette the best a knob can get isn't the case
Wilkinson sword pour moi

I'm with @MLawro93's MO
With the shower gel 6 types which includes shaving

Best done the day before activities on the cards
At least a few hours
Fanny batter leakage floating around on some vigorous shagging [protected obvs] ain't the best on a shaved shaft & bag
Pussy slides = a day absolute minimum preferably two

One Blade with attachment for trimming the rest
A jungle shaved shaft + bag looks IMO weird

Be interesting to know others routine in keeping trim down below.

So, I tend to just use a fresh disposable razor and shaving cream for a full shaven look, for both groin and butt hair. Tend to do this if I'm after OWO and to keep nice and fresh. However, it can be a bit of a mission, as I need to do it slow and delicate, and don't always get a fully clean shave, and can be a bit messy. Looking for a good and quick easy way to shave below - such as an electric device like Manscaped. What are the best products for the nether regions, any that don't nick or cut (especially around the ball bag area as the skin will fold into itself, it you know what I mean)

Any advice would be helpful!
